We absolutely love coming here. I’ve been coming since I was a child and now bring my kids. Get a cabin and bring your own food to cook. It saves you $. The cafeteria isn’t terrible but it’s pretty expensive. I wish there was still ice skating like when I was a kid but I’m sure that is a liability.

Lots of free fun things to do that are included with your stay. It’s so nice to be able to afford to go somewhere with my family and have peace and quiet.

What a lovely mountain retreat! A friend and I took a getaway during spring break and had a lovely time in the cabin! It was so peaceful! Hope cabin was beautiful, updated and clean. We loved that it was dog friendly and that there was a little dog park for our 2 Labs!

I'd give 20 stars if I could !
Best winter vacation place ever! We had a blast with the family, kids 8 and down, plus the grandparents! Such fun and wholesome activities available, and everyone can really be themselves while they explore and adventure in a safe and welcoming environment. Ice skating, sledding, roller skating, beautiful sports gym, rock climbing, game room , not to mention the beautiful and spacious cabin!

We have been coming to the YMCA for years. Our two young kids have grown up coming here and we have a blast with both the summertime and winter activities. Staff is always friendly. Beautiful location. The key is to stay in the cabins and not the hotel rooms. Only wish is that they would clean the cabins better. It’s hit or miss whether or not you get a nice updated one, or a dirty grimy old one. I get they are cabins but the price tag of almost $300 a night you would expect better. Also if you drive around they are building tons of new cabins all the time, it’s packed during the summer, so the place is making plenty of money.

Really cool property it's huge and they offer a lot of activities. But I less you get a cabin there is no ac their hotel rooms are like dorm rooms small, no ac and no TV's. Bit the property it's self is awesome elk mule deer all over a good view of the mountains. The room are cheap compared to other places in Estes. If you have kids this is a great spot

We brought our grandsons up to the YMCA last week!! It was perfect!! It was the week before Christmas so we had the place to ourselves!
The cabin was fantastic and very clean. The ice skating was so much fun! They spent hours out there!! The pool was perfect. They had a blast!!
They also had the best time in the gym! So much to do. The roller skating was closed which was a bummer . Our cabin did not have a TV so we played so many games‼️Everyone was so kind and helpful! We plan on going back again.

During summer 2023, I had the privilege of being able to spend a couple of days at this YMCA with my family. We LOVED it! There were plenty of games and activities for our children, including a library, and a roller skating rink! I especially enjoyed being able to wake up early each morning and hike to the summit of nearby mountains to enjoy the sunrise.

I took my Mom to stay in a cabin for her 85th birthday. We stayed in a cabin on the hill behind the dining hall and it was so relaxing and quiet. We were able to complete a ceramic project and pick it before leaving. Swimming was also alot of fun and we were the only family in the pool. My girls came up with their families to share the day and celebrate 85 wonderful years. No elk were seen around the property but we saw some close up in Estes Park.
