Sermons (especially pastor Thomas): 5 stars

Worship and songs chosen: 5 stars

People completely ignoring you when you point-blank tell them hello/good morning on more occasions than I can count on one hand: 5 stars!!!

If it weren't for that last pillar this would have been my home church but alas, the people here despite the few nice ones I actually didn't get ignored by, are too absorbed in some sort of ignore-everything stupor or something.... but if you can overlook that then thisnplace is amazing! Yay Jesus.

This is the best church in Colorado! There are so many programs for men, women, kids, and teens to be a part of. I've met so many friends at Calvary. Our pastor, Thomas Milburn, is truly doing what God put him on earth to do. Teach and spread the gospel. He is an extremely talented speaker and gives very relevant sermons. I'm in a men's group called Men Of Action, and we help people in need with yard and handyman work on Saturday mornings(one per month) and I absolutely love it. Come check out Calvary, learn about Jesus and make some new friends .❤️🙏✝️

So thankful for Calvary Erie. A visiting family member commented after the morning sermon, "They sure did read a lot from the Bible!" I can't think of a better complement. We have made life-long friends and are so blessed to be a small part of this amazing community.

DeLynn, come try us again. No church is perfect, because each is filled with imperfect people, and likewise imperfect families. So if you are imperfect, you will fit in just fine! My family and I have been attending this church for about a year and a half, and what you will find here, if you are willing to put in some of your own effort, is welcoming, engaging, caring, loving, community. Everyone has their own opinion and perspective rightly so, but please do not sway others from coming and seeing for themselves whether or not there is or isn’t inclusiveness here. I can say by experience, there is, and I have nothing to gain by saying this other than I hope we can care and love on new people who come and see. Come join our family DeLynn, give this church, give us, my family, another shot to help you feel welcomed and included. Love you

Pastor Thomas Miller is an engaging teacher, a devoted lover of Jesus Christ, and a caring person. However, this church is too caught up with rules and protocol. There are cliques and if you don't fit into their concept of the perfect Christian family, you might fall through the cracks, as I did.

If you are looking for a feel-good, community center, then you found one here. If you are looking for a strong, biblical church, go somewhere else. Sadly, they are comprised and unwilling to take stand on the hard issues. We need churches that stand for strong biblical truth, this one is not one of them.
