We began attending Summit 3 years ago because we wanted a children’s program that was inclusive to our children including special needs. What we found at Summit was a very welcoming program (lead by the very caring Ms. Ashleigh) who took time to learn about each of our children. The leadership at Summit genuinely care and clearly love God and love people. I feel like this church lives out the heart of God by all they do in the community.

This church has ruined my belief in organized religion. From Pastor Jeff Huber taking sermons from others and claiming them as his own to the way the underbelly of the leadership board is run "money talks", I would highly encourage you to look somewhere else. What looks all sparkly and pretty on the outside I guarantee you is hiding some very ugly secrets.

To the least of these you do unto me...

This mountain town church has some MAJOR blind spots.

Husband and I have been looking for a church in the Durango area for awhile. Pastor Jeff is amazing and very knowledgeable. Sunday services are great to attend while our daughter plays in the nursery center. Best church so far

Attended a recital at the Summit Church titled "Music of the Americas" by two performers playing an unusual variety of music written for clarinet and piano, by Spanish and Mexican composers, by Leonard Bernstein, by Scot Joplin, and by Artie Shaw. A small audience greatly appreciated the music & the performers.
The church sanctuary made a good music venue for informal performance.

Sadly, a seminary-influenced church that has modified the Word of God to worship culture and what man is currently ordaining. Nice people, but God being love doesn't eliminate His other attributes like truth, justice, and immutability. Transformation and Sanctification can not happen without genuine repentance, and 'feel good' religious doctrine sacrifices what Christ accomplished on the Cross for us.

Well...I've heard a lot of sermons in my life given by numerous pastors and I can honestly say that the current pastor here, Jeff, is absolutely off the top. Have heard none who could compare. He has an incredible gift for preaching. The time and effort he puts into his sermons has lead me on the best journey of my life. Am grateful beyond words. Plus...there is even live streaming every Sunday at 9:30am and / or recorded sermons that can be replayed at any time. Check it out!
