Our group volunteered here for the 8 am feeding and clean up to give back for Thanksgiving. The owners are very laid back and welcoming! Find the link on website for release forms print and bring with you, call owner or stop in to set up your visit! It sounds like she gets overwhelmed with emails. Don’t forget to ask what snacks to bring for all the animals, the fun part was feeding them!!This experience was not only fun but rewarding! It’s an animal rescue so don’t forget to leave a financial donation! Do something different then hiking! You’ll be glad you did!

I just visited this rescue farm today with my nine year old and five year old. I am so happy that a place like Edwards exists. Even th dogs and cats are rescues. My nine year old cannot wait until she is old enough to volunteer.

Outstanding folks doing amazing education in the community. Animals well cared for and obviously well loved! I took my two grandkids back in the summer. My older grandson Ben age 10 got to walk a llama with the group of volunteers!! He absolutely had a blast. Christopher is six. He’s autistic and non verbal. The animals were so gentle and he loved getting to pet them. His smile and joy in being with the animals especially the smaller goats made my heart so happy. Because of his noise aversion it’s difficult to find fun things to do with him. The serenity and calmness of the animals gave Christopher a very special outing with grandma! Thank you Lynda Edwards for everything you do for the animals, special needs kids, adults and just the entire community involvement!!! Blessings always

Being a volunteer here has literally changed my life. Being around these animals, with their backgrounds (some of them pretty tragic), and the trust they give us to take care of them is an indescribable feeling. Lynda has a love and commitment to these animals like no other.
Two hours of hard work goes a LONG way and is ALWAYS appreciated. If doing the work isn't your thing, just come for a tour and we'll be glad to share the Llama Love! 😊
