We weren't given a heads up before we left to Denver, couldn't get funds together in such a small time frame. But I have nothing but good things to say about the Ronald McDonald house, nothing but love n respect for what they did for us and all the staff n ppl who contributed. Stayed about almost 2 weeks Dr's thought our baby was gonna have something wrong with her heart when she was born, she was healthy n nothing wrong with her. The rooms are very awesome n they took care of us the whole time in Denver, such a blessing.

This is a nicely equipped building. They have toys and games for kids. There are three kitchens. Many fridges in each kitchen for storing your food. They have some older game systems for the children to play on. Some local groups occasionally stop by and provide meals. If you weren't already aware it's basically a place for parents to crash while their children are in the hospital for treatment of serious illnesses. You have to live a certain distance from the hospital to stay. In the last sixteen years I've always been too close for utilizing one of these. I would frequently go to my local Sams and Costco to pick up supplies for donations though. I would suggest considering this place if you are looking for a charity to help out. They collect soda can tabs also. This place is run very well the staff members and volunteers are some of the most thoughtful people I've run across.

We have been staying here while our daughter is in the NICU and it has been so helpful for us since weโ€™re from out of state. The staff is friendly and there are a lot of amenities. The WiFi is a little slow but thatโ€™s pretty much the only issue weโ€™ve had. I definitely recommend coming here if someone in your family will have an extended hospital stay and you canโ€™t travel.

When my daughter needed surgery, we stayed here. Not all people who worked or volunteered here were friendly, but they were very helpful and kind. I'm very grateful that they helped my family, and I will never forget their kindness. They have a wonderful setup, and it was definitely a home away from home. Mostly, I was only there at night while my hubby and Son were there all the time because I was with my daughter during the daytime. What I saw of the place was very nice and clean. I would recommend that family and friends try to stay there if, God forbid, their children are in need of medical attention.

Extremely welcoming, refreshingly non-judgmental, ready to help fill any need they could possibly help with. I felt very humbled to have been able to stay there with my son during his time of need, and very grateful to every donor who make it possible. Thank you so very much.
