Great comfort food spot. Been quite a while since last enjoyed a good cheesesteak. Really enjoyed the # 1 combo with mushrooms! Heard great things about Uncle Phil's online and finally got to stop by in person. Can't wait to get back to try some of the other offerings! Keep up the great work!

My Bf saw this place on IG and wanted to try, while I am not a cheesesteak type I was down to try. Great energy when you come in, one of the owners came out and introduced himself, everyone spoke when you came in, took our order and gave us a timeframe of about 20 since they are made fresh. They are still putting in. The finishing touches, can’t wait to come back when it’s all done!

The food is bomb and boyfriend smashed his before I could get a pic. Will def be back!

Went to eat on Sunday for lunch. Only one person in line ahead of us. Seating for 14 inside, with each table being a 2-top. Limited drink options, limited menu, but why try to do more than you’re the best at There’s a few different cheesesteak options, with a couple size options, and approx 5 add-on ingredients available. New storefront is easy to find and plenty of parking, as it’s located next to a Kroger. Honey Garlic Chicken Cheesesteak was creamy and tender on perfectly steamed bread. The beef was well seasoned and the sandwich was full with beef in each bite. Standard fries, nothing to write home about. Will try the special fries next visit. There’s a high probability you’ll run into someone famous in some form or fashion! The cheesecake options looked amazing, but we didn’t try any this visit. Excited to go back for sure!

I had the honey garlic chicken philly in the past when visiting the decatur food hub. That's what brought me to the physical establishment. This time we got the honey garlic chicken philly and the regular chicken philly. The chicken philly tasted like they accidentally made it honey garlic. And the honey garlic chicken philly was a little dry. We also had the philly cheesesteak fries, they were good. Overall the food was good. Was disappointed about the actual honey garlic cheesesteak being dry, but we'll probably return.

An hour drive each way, and I still have to find excuses to not go! The cheesesteaks are great, but that lemon pepper chicken philly is phenomenal! Can't wait until you guys open a place North OTP

Overall atmosphere and vibe was very cool! But a few flaws here. When my Wife and I walked up, all you could smell is weed and by the time you walked in, you smelled both food & weed. Not a great first start for newbies. The cashier that took our order was very sweet and polite. We placed out order, my Wife order extra cheese on her 11 inch philly with banana peppers. I order my 11 inch philly as is, with just the pickles. We get our order, and my Wife's sandwich had double meat which she didn't ask for, and mines had the extra cheese, which I didn't ask for. Now us knowing this as the customers, I went back to the counter to ask to make sure that the extra cheese was on the right sandwich. I was then told yes it was, but we knew it was incorrect. We're not the kind that make a big fuss over anything, so I just went back to sit & eat the sandwich. I was also told the extra cheese on my Wife''s sandwich was on the bottom, and she double checked it, and it was not on there. The fries was okay, but they weren't all that great. The meat 🥩 itself tasted more like a minced salami rather than actual beef from a philly cheesesteak. From our understanding, the owner is going for the Philly Cheesesteaks feeling, but this was not the case upon our first time visiting last night. A lot of people hype this eatery up, but honestly speaking, it is very over hyped. Also, presentation is the key. We understand that it's a more chilled, laid back feel which is great, but between the smelling of loud weed and some of your employees looking kind of thrown away, it's not a good look, especially if you're wanting to attract more customers. Definitely nowhere near on the 10 star level yet, but it definitely has the great potential to be! Good customer service you all do have. Don't aim for great reviews all of the time, but more so aim for awesome quality from within, and the great reviews will come pouring in! Also, add bell peppers & roasted red peppers to the menu, which in Philly, this is a definite for a cheese steak 🥩 sandwich feel! Based on our experience, if we had a choice between eating at Burger King and Uncle Phil's, we'd choose Burger King right now. Let's get on that y'all, and this way, we can change our minds about the overall experience.

Unfortunately, I was unable to experience the hype that my Coworkers indicated. first off, the food was hot when I returned back to my office. I purchased a chicken Philly combo unfortunately it was extremely dry. The soda that I received was a diet Coke and it was frozen and once I called to informed them that they need to check it only thing that could say to me I’m sorry not even attempt to fix it. Sorry this review that I had to give you.
