One thing though some people here don't like when you dress nice it irritates there demons when you have good self care. Like looking good and feeling good and taking good care of my family and health is a bad thing. This club unfortunately is now corrupted by poor leadership! I wouldn't be surprised if they drink in secret here!
So unfortunately, my favorite club is somewhere i'm not coming back because they suggest dressing nice and feeling good about yourself is a bad thing. Not encouraging serenity at all if you ask me. There are better meetings elsewhere. Trust me. They judge you at OC like they're holier than thou!☆ and bias on how you look. Discrimination basically about self expression! They have some unattractive philosophys here. Like self expression is bad i dont get it. I find this extremely unattractive.

Great AA clubhouse, friendly with other fellowships- Al-anon, Alateen, CEA-HOW, CA, etc. Good coffee, tea, snacks. They've had to change locations 2x, so check on their website where they're located now. As a clubhouse, they are open early, & stay open until the last meetings over, like 9-10 pm. Very comforting that there's a place of recovery in the DTC/Greenwood Village area, close to I-25.

I have gone to one meeting here and it was awkward. The leader of the group not only was bickering with people, he was drinking Kombucha! Kombucha, especially the brand he was drinking contains ALCOHOL! It doesn't have much but give me a break, if was kind of a slap in the face. I was also put on the spot and felt that I was forced to share. The meeting kind of turned out to be more of an NA meeting than AA which made me uncomfortable and feel like I didn't have a problem, after all (not freaking true). I actually wanted to drink MORE after that. Haven't been to another meeting since.

Great club. Welcoming people that are all about supporting one another. Lots of great meetings to choose from. The 6:45am during the week days is one of the best in the country. Check it out!

I look for meetings that share the message of recovery and a club that lives that message. Orchard Club provides both! I usually attend the noon meeting, and I always leave with a few things to think about while feeling uplifted and encouraged about life in recovery. Everyone should check out this club.
