Hello! The path of an Emigrant is not easy. Having arrived in the USA from Ukraine and starting everything from scratch, while realizing that you have no friends or acquaintances in this country, that there is no basic moral support. It is very difficult, we face various problems and cannot even understand where to move, and sometimes it seems that the whole world is against you. But we must pull ourselves together, we must prove to ourselves that it has already been worse and that it should only get better in the future. In our case, everything was very bad, I was not mentally prepared to go to another country, but I understood that I had a one-year-old child in my arms and he needed to be saved and taken out of a country that was not safe. There we had a favorite job, friends, family, and here there was no one at all. But we decided that we literally needed to save ourselves. Upon arrival in America, I thought that everything was all alone ... there was no support, only my husband and one-year-old daughter. It was very scary. I didn't know the language, didn't understand what was going on and where to look for finances for life in this country. And then fate brought me together with wonderful people working in your organization. Karina, Tatyana and Anna. I can write about these people for a long time, since even a day is not enough for me to express our gratitude to them. But what they did for our family is priceless. May God give you health and strength. You are great and thank you for helping and still helping us in difficult times. From the first day, these girls did everything to make us feel at home, and most importantly, safe. Thank you Karina, Tatyana and Anna for everything. Our family will be infinitely grateful to you. You are definitely in the right place! Take care of yourself and your loved ones. Thank you for being there.

Karina was extremely helpful and supportive throughout my case with ECDC, I had a long delay with the USCIS services and had to be unemployed for a period of time and Karina was very responsive and helpful to quickly resolve my issue. Had a great experience with her and in general they helped to get through this uncomfortable situation. I received all the support from her during the process and she was there for me all the time. Great staff and professional team. Without Karina’s help I would have a financial hardship because of USCIS slow staff and long reviewing time. Thanks folks!

Hello, I am a dissident from Russia. Today I visited an organization and asked for help to properly fill out a state benefits application. The receptionist called over a woman who knows Russian. This woman told us that they are currently only helping Ukrainians. Your website talks about multiculturalism and inclusiveness. But here we are being denied help just because we are Russians and not Ukrainians.
