I don’t know if this place does a good job or not, and I’m not sure who to blame. But my brother was kicked out of this program for getting into a fight with another client after finding out his step sister committed suicide. (He also had severe mental health issues such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.) Instead of helping him calm down, or putting him in another area of the facility, they kicked him out and dropped him off in Chinatown, the WORST part of town in Salinas. There my brother died on the street from either an overdose or being murdered, we haven’t gotten the reports back yet. This is unforgivable. My brother was an amazing person who just needed compassion and kindness. He was not violent by nature. He needed support, not more rejection. And now he is dead and gone. I hate Salinas, I hate the state of California’s screwed up laws and now I hate this world.

I have had a great experience with sunstreet until today. I not only was met with such a bad attitude from Arrlett. I also never got my questions answered. Arlett had no desire to listen to anything I was saying and was more concerned with repeating the same answer over and over. Then through derogatory remarks about my character. If there was another choice in the area I would go there but there isn’t. Being accosted for asking questions shouldn’t be a feeling anyone gets from any business.

All they care about is your money!! They deserve to be sued for all the scams they have running in this place. Be careful with them theyll stab you as soon as you turn your back on them.

So sad to see they had no budget for materials and decorations ..however.. its EASTER..SO HAPPY DAY!... I decorated and volunteered to the best of my ability, I hope I made a few people smile😎
