I understand some agency’s are under staffed but that still shouldn’t stop someone from giving good customer service. First phone representative was amazing a people person for sure. Second Gentleman was very rude and had an attitude. When people work for their money we have a right to call in and ask about our state taxes. Needs better communication with some of ur staff. Called last yr nice lady helped me. It doesn’t take much to be kind in this economy as everyone is going through something.

I have never encountered INCOMPETENCE at this level until having to deal with FTB today!!!! Not only do they put you on hold for 2-4 hours, but even if you can talk to a real person they are about as selfish and unhelpful as they can get. The last person I talked to transferred me to a dead number, and then I got hung up on. To those who run this disaster, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

As I'm writing this I've been on hold for 25 min. Anyways this is government corruption at its worst. Nobody should have to pay these punks. This should be shut down. All throughout history governments have tried & have taken from it's citizens. Eventually people get fed up. People fight back, without compromise. They should never be able to take money they don't need. Anyone ever wonder were all the money goes? Newsflash it goes to people working for government.

This is the worst FTB government I have seen. I am getting this letter from the mail that I would owe $500. This is out of the ordinary and getting ridiculous.
Look I am just upset that I keep getting mail of being charged! I protested this statement and I keep getting interest rates. This is the worst FTB system and is being unprofessional. Just you wait, I will sue you in court one of these days and hear back from the lawyer.
I would call you an entitled government or entitled Karen someday.

Got a notice from the California Tax board about some money I owe from 7 years ago. California must be really hurting because I already paid my taxes to the Fed and Texas (joke). I've been on hold for 3 hours and the bank has placed a hold on my money. Garbage state.

No one answers the phone, they tell you your wait time and since they will close at a certain time they decide not to answer phone to then say it’s after business hours. Such BS!!!!!

Thanks for putting a LEVY on MY ACCOUNT for my FATHERS DEBT and y’all wait time is ONE TO TWO HOURS. Y’all stole 1,300 of MY MONEY INSTEAD OF GOING AFTER MY DADS ACCOUNTS. I GOT NO WARNING. I HAVE BILLS TO PAY AND ONLY A HUNDRED DOLLARS IN MY ACCOUNT NOW.
