Many memorable moments of my currently short lifespan took place here, and I will have a soft spot in my sopping, sogging, dripping heart in it for that, but looking at it objectively, its not a very good school. Most of the staff does seem to try their best though.

Also, the teachers are a bit too soggy, eggy, and cheesy for my taste.

If you want your children to get a education do not send them here!! I sent my child here thinking she was safe and getting a better education. That was not the situation! Students are NOT first! The Staff is and they protect the staff in anyway they can. Superintendent can NOT help you! They are aware of that and rather get rid of you than deal with what is right! They are their own community and make their own rules! The board of education will be reading a letter from me.

Do your homework first! Ask parents and the superintendent questions before considering your children to go here. The orientation is all lies!

This school needs more improvement than the terrible paint job on a car. The previous principle running the school when it opened did not care for their students, having a "all 'bout me" attitude. Whom also completely dropped me out of school, not even letting me say goodbye to my friends. If a kid need help, or special needs, it was often swept under the rug until the parents/guardians confronted the issue, and even at that, the issue will still carry on. The favoritism in this school is beyond and just ridiculous. If the favorite kid ever bullied someone, and the victim of that bully ever told the teacher, the kid wouldn't get in trouble, if not hardly. They would only be met with "Are you sorry? Okay good" and then done. I was bullied and whenever I told my teachers, or my friends spoke up for me, the bully would only be gestured to say sorry, or would be questioned if they did so, and if replied no, the teacher would carry on like nothing happened.

This school did not help, if not contributed to my anger issues. Given that they would let me have breakdowns, not help me, send me to the office if I did not 'participate' in class, and so on.

Now that I look back on this, I am so thankful I was dropped from the school. Who knows what mess I could have became thanks to such an unorganized and unacceptable behavior from both staff and students.
It is just remarkable how many 5 stars this school gets, cause I'm sure that those people clicked on this missed the 1 star button.

Have had nothing but great experiences here with our kids. So much I could gush about, but it’s one of the top picks for my neighbors, extended family and friends. Love love love this school.

GVA has been a great experience for 6 of my children these last three years. From kindergarten to 8th grade, the teachers we have had have been excellent, caring, wonderful teachers for my children. The administration staff have been supportive and friendly. Excellent school.

Jesus I hate this school so much at first it’s fine but no it gets horrible and the teachers here don’t know how to handle any real situations also they are sexists and give no respect to any students Whatever you do don’t send your kids to this horrible school they are going to be miserable for pretty much their entire childhood
