My brother has been with Up2Me Community Foundation for almost a year. In the 30 years he has been in boarding homes, this is the happiest he has been. He has a great relationship with the owner who is a very caring person who goes above and beyond to help her clients. The house is very clean, cheerfully decorated and well run. Food is always available and a weekly menu is posted. The bedrooms have new beds and colorful bedding. The owner is very responsive to family members of her clients. Much thought has gone into providing excellent care for people living at Up2Me Community Foundation homes.

I have a family member who lives in this home and every time he calls, he tells me how this is the best place he has every lived. He is so relieved and thankful to be in a safe, clean place where he feels cared for. Meals are provided and he tells me they are delicious! The interior is decorated thoughtfully and has the feel of a family home, which is very comforting. He feels so lucky to get to live here and I am happy to know he’s in a safe, healthy home.

I am a professional in the human services field. I’ve had an opportunity to partner with Up2M Community Foundation and visited the location on numerous occasions. Their clients are filled with joy and gratitude for the services which they provide, the passion the organization has for doing what they love and the cleanliness of the homes. Often you can find the clients being transported to doctor appointments and shopping sprees to give them a since or independence. Overall I personally appreciate what Up2me has to offer to the community and my clients.

My friends reside in the T2 and T1 location. I have visited these establishments quite a few times. The owners are not friendly. Yes, the residents are joyful and will speak with you, however the T2 location has been struggling lately with a lot. They have bed bugs in their T2 location. They accept food stamps as a way to pay rent if you don't have enough to make the $950 for a shared room. Private rooms are $1,500+. The mattresses are not new and they refuse to get new ones after the bed bug infestation. All furniture and decor is purchased second hand. They don't pay the house keeper for cooking and cleaning in the T2 location. This establishment does not provide food on the weekends, only Monday-Friday. The homes are not wheelchair accessible.

I have a friend that lives in one of the Up2Me houses and they rave about how warm and welcoming the people are. The house is very clean and has nice decor which I've witnessed myself. I would love to move here but they are all full. I will definitely be joining the wait list.

It's really sad when a "non-profit" organization takes advantage of the people they are suppose to be helping. It's so dehumanizing when you have basically nothing and the little you do have gets tossed on the driveway like trash. They also like to take away their tenants food stamps to use for their own selfish needs. This place is not a safe place and it's also infested with bed bugs which makes it unsanitary. Do better and be better!

I visited this astonishment when I was trying to find a place for my daughter. While I decided to have her to continue to live with me the up2me staff were were professional and caring. The house was clean and well kept.

My son stayed at up 2 me nothing but good things to say very helpful to my son for the time he was living there I recommend there services for anyone who needs a home may it be long term or short term staff is very caring and loving to the people that living there clients and their families clean and safe
