My husband and I submitted our request and scheduled our consultation over a month ago. We were finally supposed to have that appointment and they did not call us. We have separately called them and asked "hey what happened we were not called but still would like to get scheduled and begin our process". The only response we have gotten is that they will "look into why we weren't called and call us back either same day or next day". They have yet to call us. Obviously super unorganized and if we are being treated this way before they have our money I can not even begin the roller coaster they would throw us on once they have it and do not communicate! Do yourself a favor and look else where.

The San Bernardino County is taking an extremely long time to get foster parents approved. After several months of being approved by knotts agency I have tried all the ways to contact the county asking them if I got approved and they don't answer. I thought they "Urgently" needed foster parents but that is a lie. You will have a better chance trying the L.A county to have a quicker process.

*Update: After 3 months of leaving a 3 star review hoping to see a better service from the agency I feel left out by them. They don't give you a call, text or an email to follow up on you.

Like I said before. You will have better chances to become a foster parent in L.A

I would like to take a moment to say how grateful I am to this agency not only are they very professional but the staff is very caring and supportive with positive energy. I see some of these negative remarks on the reviews and I would like u to know That it takes time you have to Have patience because it’s not the agency fault some of the backgrounds take longer than others we had to wait about six months. It was an a bad thing it was perfect timing and I think Knotts Family Agency for helping us with our placement. So far our experience has been wonderful with the children and the staff I would like to give a shout out to Diana, Verónica, Mina, and Racquel for all the wonderful help and guidance during this procedure.
