The conversation always #begin with you literally feeding them information, and then, from there on, the conversation descends to "we can't do this", "we can't do that ..." and a whole lot of #negative energy is a waste!🙌 But to classify oneself as "supposedly being a supportive resource," APS is not only an #epic fail but a #waste of taxpayers' money because they can't do anything OR THEY WON'T! Quit with the non-sense already, AND DO WHAT YOU GET FUNDED TO DO "protect adults"❤️

Approximately 8 years ago I had to seek assistance from APS. The Social Worker assigned to my case helped me beyond words. He gave me instructions on a step by step basis. I was able to obtain the best possible care for my mother and protect her from my predatory sister and nephew. I was able to protect the trust assets and after she passed, distributed a good inheritance without any thank-you from those who took and rarely helped with her care. Thank you APS.

I called aps, several days ago. I've heard nothing back. I'm being threatened, bullied, there are children in this pig sty of a house. A pretty big rat ran across my room last night. My dogs are so flea infested, I no longer know how to deal with them. Sleep with bright light on, rat and flea prevention. APS a joke or what.I have multiple sclerosis, fallen 5 times in past week. No handrails, no bathroom bars.

Adult protective service in Sacramento failed my mother and our family. I called and begged them to help us! I told them that Joanne Levitt was taking advantage of our mother Gloria Stanhope, that she was telling our mom that she didn't have Dementia and that she was taking money from her! Then that Joan (pronounced Joanne) daughter Nikki Leavitt was signed up to be her car provider through IHSS and we were afraid for our mom! They did nothing! iHSS did nothing! I called Med-I-cal fraud and my mother died 3-22-17 because she wasn't being given her medication and Nikki didn't call 911 she called her mom! Then when EMTS came and asked for relative information they gave them my 90 year old aunt first and my cousin told them to call us! We would have our mother alive if APS would have done their job!

This is, in my opinion, a terrorist organization that simply does not adhere the United States Constitution or it's own mission statement. I can't state it any more clearly than that. Even lawyers are afraid to represent people against them. They are a human trafficking group that can be hired by higher social classes, and if you are on their radar (neighbor, enemy, etc) you are going to hit, get hit even more, prove your innocence then have them come back at you before your settlement check clears. It is literally the most unAmerican agency out there.

They've been called to the house several times. Their staff is a bunch of volunteers. They have no authority to do anything. All they can do is talk to people and try to negotiate a solution. If you need anything legal done, they can provide you with a myriad of worthless gubment agencies to contact, none of which can do anything either. Good luck.

Because people don't understand regulations, and regulators feel it necessary to come up with foolish dumb-down lists to gin up business, innocent people get caught up in the dysfunctional APS bureaucracy because even educated professionals are afraid to use any judgment rather than CYA'ing behind the dumb-down list selections. And there is absolutely no price to pay, except by men, for filing utterly false and unfounded reports. Makes California worse than it already looks to many.

I've called for a neighbor, 88 yr old veteran, living in a trailer, with no electricity, water and no food, he's disabled, one leg, his car was stolen and can't find his phone, there is a case with the APS, but absolutely nothing has been done for his care, it's been a month and he is freezing every night, and I give him a hot meal for him and his dog this is supposed to be federal funded, what are you doing with the money to help this man
