🥀 What a disappointment. To call their California office today was an unfortunate “downer”. Combating hate is not only about pointing out the misguided, ignorant and hateful threats to the community but also to acknowledge the need for proper coverage in our media to tell of our many positive contributions of which we can take pride!. Based on the conversation I just had with whomever answered their phone today...this organization seems to have ZERO interest in such a notion of that as an additional means to combat hate. The National Hispanic Media Coalition would be wise to recommit to its mission that its founders Armando Durón, Esther Renteria, and Alex Nogales envisioned in 1986.
