I went through S.C.B.C. in 2011-2012. Fresh out from serving a life sentence. Started working on The Litter Abatement Crew with CalTrans bought a car, clothes and got a nice Apt. If you want help in overcoming many of the obstacles that we are confronted with when transitioning back into the community this is the place to help you get your !@#$ together. They have expanded to other counties so take advantage of the opportunity if you can. Many resources available.

I don't usually do the review thing but I lightweight feel obligated too for this one. I went from catching the bus and being homeless to having a house new car and earning $1300 a week because of the opportunities they provided. The staff was helpful and funny and overall it was just a good environment to be in fresh out of prison.Truthfuully it's the best decision my P.o forced me to make. Hopefully this motivates someone.. -Gene Scarbrough.
