We worked with James for a week to prepare for a scientific expedition that required installing equipment in the canopy of a rainforest. James was an incredible teacher. We learned the skills necessary to feel comfortable climbing and maneuvering around a tree, and in bringing things up into the tree to work with. He has a wealth of experience and had a lot of great suggestions on how to deploy the tools we need to. We also learned different climbing techniques/tools and rescue. Both me and my colleague felt confident after the training and hope to work with James more in the future. His course is HIGHLY recommended!

I took James' course with Shah to prepare for the same scientific expedition he mentions in his review. I can't express how perfect his course felt for me. The pace of the course and the approach he took to building and encouraging muscle memory made me very comfortable, excited even, as we progressed through the course. It was always easy to ask questions and well worth the effort. Above all, I felt safe. It was clear from the very beginning that James' priority is safety and, importantly, I felt like I was in very good hands should one occur. I can't recommend him enough.
