I went to this clinic years ago to find out which clinic I wanted to go to. I checked out several and decided on going to Bi Valley Bart. They took me in that day and didn't make me feel like I was Amy different from the next person. Let's be honest, we are all addicted. So, I had to choose from 2 different counselors and I went. I've been there ever since. I absolutely love this clinic. (The best in the Sac area) Everyone has their best and this is mine. Good luck in finding your help to

I have been to more than a few clinics in different states in my recovery journey, and I can definitely say this one is the nicest by far. Both Roseville and placerville are great facilities and everyone who works there is very kind and understanding. They even have coffee most mornings 😄

If you are trying to find a good methadone clinic I wouldn’t recommend aegis to my worst enemy. 90 percent of the patients I talk to in the waiting room agree. If you have a job or go on trips overnight or travel, then I would highly weigh your options because once you get into aegis , they control every aspect of your life and do not reward good behavior. They put everyone in the same box.

I have had the best experience with a Dr. Sarah Nasir. She realized that I was struggling and worked with me on a solution and actually found a treatment plan that is both therapeutic and effective and helping me maintain sobriety. She even on her own time set up recovery coaching and I have also utilized this resource to my benefit and I continue to grow and am for once excited about my future again. I would also like to say there is a phenomenal counselor I have named Ashley and she has been an emotional rock for me and has helped me tremendously as well. So yes if you find the right professionals amazing things can take place with your effort.

I have been coming to aegis for several years. I started in Chico, then went to Redding and then Roseville. Since being at Roseville I have found that upper management appears to look for things to bust you down about. Favoritism is definitely part of their regular get down, and if you make a mistake you are given zero empathy. “The rules are the rules. No room for grey areas here.
Upside: the dosing staff have been extremely supportive. I lost my mom and step dad in the last 7 months and my life has been turned literally upside down. My ability to function as a normal person has been challenged at best. These nurses have gone above and beyond! Thank you to all of you most especially Rifka and Pat!

This is a good place to go for treatment they have Suboxone treatment and methadone treatment. Plus counseling once a week that's pretty much mandatory. But that's with all clinics. I have been here for over 5 years clean and sober. There are three dosing windows and the nurses are nice and prompt. There's usually a doctor in every day to see patients except for the weekend I think. But I recommend this out of all clinics around Sacramento because I have been to most of them. It's nice being able to function like a normal human being everyday, I consider it a blessing to be in the program.

I started out wondering why they allow the patients to control their own dose amount. I was seeing patients with a dose as high as 300mg! I got up to 110mg and worked my way down, but if you don't genuinely have the want to quit using, this place can make it even worse. Most of the counselors are very kind and have wonderful intentions, but some of them are just there on a pit-stop on their way to something better. I don't know how I feel about this place anymore. I feel like it would be SO easy to just fall off into the deep end!!

Getting sober isnt easy and Aegis does everything in their power to make the process easier on their patients. I've been a patient for years and reallly struggled in the beginning. Now I have 3 years sober and have aegis to thank for it. If people are giving low reviews, it is because they refuse to take accountability for their own mistakes and actions. Aegis deals with hundreds of patients on a daily basis and can recognize when someone is serious about staying clean or if there just going through the motions at someone else's expense. No one ever said getting clean was going to be easy, some times mistakes happen. They are human beings too and the dosing nurses dont even get paid usually because they're doing it for clinic hours. They are truly saints behind a tiny window. I adore the staff and couldn't imagine how dull the place would be without them holding down the fort. I will be one to admit that I carried my own bias against Aegis for awhile when I slipped up for the first time in years. It is funny how addicts will blame everyone around them for thier mistakes instead internalizing the issue in order to learn from it. Thank you very much aegis team! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to an addict in need. You all have given me the inspiration to do something positive with my life. God bless.
