Caseworker Micah needs to be fired, doesn’t do her job at all. Love Rebecca though. Terry needs training on how to talk to someone with empathy.

Sacramento Steps Forward is doing a lot of good, though their role is misunderstood. They do not run 311 and are not a direct service provider. They implement and support plans that have led to numerous housing and shelter units, increased services, and more accessible support systems. Great to see an organization speaking up for and putting into place long-term solutions that are making a real difference in the root causes of homelessness.

Sacramento Steps Forward, you made it possible for me and my two sons to live a blessed life. I'm not sure where we would have turned if it were not for you. Much love to you and yours!

I was told by a sacramento steps forward case worker that im no longer eligable for the program all while my case worker (for a different company that works with ssf) told me the company was being disbanded.
i then received a notice that I was being cycled out of the program for non contact. This was the second time something like this has happened. Who do i talk to?

Aren't you folks responsible for 311? And isn't 311 Sacramento's most expensive voicemail? The actual number as a real service? You have pumped millions of dollars into this. Who have you helped and what have you done? You're a beauraucratic black hole. I am not saying bad people, on the contrary very good people. Alas, all the money ypi've spent and what to show for it? Public opinion of the homeless gets worse. But where is the pudding? Where is the proof?

Sacramento Steps Forward is notoriously impossible to contact, they dont respond to phone calls or emails and do not accept walk-in's!

They'll only furnish assistance if you some how manage to reach them but you have to somehow prove extreme diligence by something like calling everyday for a month or more.

When your homeless you simply give up due to ALL the multitudes of dead-end "resources" in the California State Capital city of Sacramento. What an example being set, WHAT A DISGRACE!!

I wish negative stars was a possibility. This is the most unprofessional program I have ever seen. Multiple illegal things are going on right under your nose. This is such a scam. I've been present when multiple people who are not physically fit to be on the street have been kicked out and made out to be a liar or drug addict or something. In reality it is the shifty staff who is covering the tracks that they leave behind from the theft invasion of privacy hostile Manors towards the elderly and mentally challenged. These people god honest truth will do some seriously out of line things to the guest and if they are challenged verbally about the wrong doings the staff bands together and removes the resident from the program and literally lies about the things that the resident is being vacated for. Nobody ever thinks twice to look at the staff because they are all following a premade story that was plotted behind closed doors in case of anyone who might want to challenge the legitimacy of the eviction. I can vouch for all of this because I been a resident of the program since it began and I'm currently still in it.ive been at two different locations and I have first hand seen the games played.i have friends who are staff and they have told me some pretty sad story's of the people who are now on the street in the cold just for standing up for what is right. I don't know how to do anything about this but I'm open to any information that you have I can use to make sure that the curruption against these poor people is stopped.im trying to go about it in a professional manor and believe me it's not easy for me to walk away from it without wanting to physically go to war for these people but I know that I won't get anywhere with that so I'm reaching out for the proper channels and steps. Thanks for your time and help.
