I found a small baby bird at Land Park and couldn't return it to its nest. I was able to drop it off at this wildlife rescue, which made me feel so happy!

They told me not to give it water because its airway was in its mouth and I could basically drown if!

I left a voicemail and got a call back from Chris… who unflinchingly dedicated DAYS of help to us; she is the raccoon expert! She came to our apartment where we had caught an abandoned baby raccoon and she stayed for hours (later joined by Michelle and Judy) to help us try to get the other baby raccoon off the roof. Turns out, we had FIVE more babies on the roof and she came out 5 different times (at all hours of the night!) to pick them all up once we got them captured. We are so grateful for all the work Chris does and we are grateful for the Wildlife Care Association!

First-time experience. I located a hurt little bird in my yard, and this place was the closest. Very easy to find. Quick and easy assessment of the animal. Filled out some paperwork and was good to go. Very pleasant experience ☺️

Very kind and receptive. I left a voicemail the night before, after hours. Someone still called me back with directions on how to care for the baby birds I had found. I left a donation check as a big thank you when I delivered the baby's the very next morning as soon as they were open.
