Moms of OC has been w me since the beginning of my pregnancy. As a first time mom I am so beyond grateful for my mommy teacher Larissa who spent hours on the phone w me during pregnancy. Now baby is out she visits us at home always sharing knowledge on what to do to build up to milestones and how to better connect w my baby. She has been such a rock in my support system. She also recommended me to take mommy and me class in person. There me and baby met our teacher Miss Gabby. Miss Gabby is such a light in our week. Her high energy and passion for educating mommies like myself is so special. Our son loves listening to Gabby sing her silly songs. She pushes us moms to express ourselves and think outside the box. She also challenges our babies w lots of different stimulation to help our babies w cognitive development using music and sensory play. I hope this review helps you look into this non profit whether to use as a resource or to donate.

Through a school project on child development, I initially found out about this nonprofit organization. After getting pregnant, I enrolled in their classes, which were helpful before giving birth. During my postpartum period, I attended "Mommy and Me" and "Family and Me" classes.

In "Mommy and Me," I had Ms. Lety, who welcomed me warmly everyday in her class. With her experience and education, she listened to and understood us new mom. Since her class was full, I took a class with Ms. Gaby instead.

Unfortunately, it was unpleasant. I felt like she tried too hard to be liked and understand our perspective, but judged me harshly instead. Her vibe seemed off, like she was hiding her true self. I wouldn't recommend her class. Not to mention, other moms also felt the same way towards Ms. Gaby, that they also mention they dropped or stopped going to her class. I thought it was just me.

However, Larissa's visits were helpful throughout my motherhood journey. I'm grateful for her hard work over the past two years. She's the best, and my daughter loves her.

I would like to start off that moms is such a great program, I have had a home visitor since pregnancy my baby now is 9 months and no issues with her love her if anything! I joined the 3-5 months mommy and me class with Ms Lety and I enjoyed going and met amazing mommy friends. After I joined the 6-11 months and that’s when it all went downhill, I had a bad experience the class overall is okay but the instructor Ms gabby seems to put you on the spot for any little thing and I felt overwhelmed after the first class for someone who isn’t extrovert and being a first time mom it’s not ok to be exposed in such manner I unfortunately will not be attending anymore mommy and me classes because I even felt uncomfortable when other moms were put on the spot indirectly.

I’ve been attending the Mommy and Me class since my baby was 3 months old. My baby is now 15 months and we absolutely love going! Mrs. Gabby is such an amazing instructor. The class gives moms a great opportunity to meet other moms and find a great support system. And a way for babies to socialize with other babies! 🙂

Grateful to have found this place and the people within it. It's a non-profit organization, and their level of preparation and follow-up is excellent, along with their outstanding commitment to those of us who are enrolled. Finding Martha as a lactation consultant during my postpartum period has helped me resume the process with my baby, trust my body, and foster a connection between us while feeding. Without her help, it wouldn't have been possible.
