The Food donations are great, very good up-to-date and quality. There's some staff members that are awesome when in need of help, but the ones who ARENT soo awesome really ruin your sense of faith in people.

I recently started going to Our Savior and had great experiences there until today. While loading my kids into their stroller, the clothing room attendant was running late and flew into the parking lot and around another car to get passed him, narrowly missing my 2 year old son whom was already seated in the stroller. Additionally, that same clothing room attendant stuck her head out of the clothing room and told me she was going to call CPS and social services on me because my two-year-old was having a tantrum seated in his stroller, he wanted to get out and run around but after the experience we just had I wasn't going to let run anywhere. She told me I was an awful mother and that she was a great mother and that I should pick my son up out of the stroller and comfort him because he was obviously going through something. I let her know she needed to mind her own business. She pulled a cell phone out of a paper bag she was holding and whispered I'm calling CPS. I went ahead and asked for the director, Diane, and she looked at me like I had two heads when I complained to her about her clothing room attendant. She said she would go and talk to her, she came back out and said oh I can't find her. I pointed into the clothing room and informed her that the attendant in there was the woman I was talking about. She pulled her aside and I heard them having a heated conversation in whispers. After that neither of them even turned to look at us while we left. It's a real shame that people go in there when they need help and end up getting verbally assaulted and threatened by someone on their staff.

I am a regular volunteer here and highly recommend it for volunteering and for getting food if you are in need.
They help feed over 100k people a year with growing numbers. It's somewhere you can feel good about while helping the community.
And, if you are in just need with a little bit or a lotta bit to feed your family, this is the perfect place.

GREAT Dr who sees patients plus from 11-1 Tuesday's and thursdays, next door, they offer a food dispensary. Homeless invited and those who get income bring pay stub, bring lease agreement, social security benefit annual report. Takes 3 minutes to enroll. Nice people.

Caring, Compassionate care given by every level of staff, lead by the most transparent and friend Dr Ignaico DeArtola, not to mention all the support staff that are genius ly cared about offering a welcoming smile, and listening ears. Not only professional but each displaying the very love of Christ Jesus. What other staff would sit and comfort me as I go thru this journey of battling terminal stage 4 cancer. For offers to share their own personal shirtcomings, never ever judging the emotional pain or remarks that so many times patients burped out in their pain and physical suffering. Providing hope where the world does not offer based on their strong faith foundation. Emparting the true ethics found in the Hypocrated Oath,...to do no harm. Where else does a physician offer a loving compassionate hug/embrace assuring you that you are loved and cared for, as you travel thru storms or surpass mountains in this physical life. Gratitude does not begin to explain the love given and received by calling these staff members as friends and my caregivers. All physician assts. that complete their clinical hrs rotation are a added benefit assuring you obtain though evaluation prior to the attending evaluation assuring that you receivce the best of what medicine can offer to the restoration of your health, with the most up to date treatments that can be afforded irregardless of your financial or social standing.

absolutely ridiculous im a homeless teenager and can’t get anyone on the phone to see if they can help me get gas vouchers so i don’t have to risk begging for money from ppl and end up getting another ticket for doing so. I can’t grasp how backwards our government assistance is i have nothing but hate and distaste for our officials in power who could care less about the homeless community (myself included)
