I don’t know how to stress enough how disappointed I am in the wellhouse . One they violated HIPPA and discussed my case with somebody I didn’t authorize them to talk to . And I did not authorize the other organization to go talk to the well house about me either. And they did this while I’m no longer a resident there. Completely inappropriate and I feel my privacy was violated. They lied about the reason they kicked me out. They kicked me out one day before I was suppose to leave. I had already graduated the program. And they let other residents place the blame on me for something they did that I had no part of AFTER I was already gone. Of course. They dropped me off at a motel far away from the property at a sketchy motel I had to pay $200 for. I only had $500 in my account . No car. I’m from Texas. Stranded. The girl in the motel room next to me was getting beat up all night by some man. I felt like I was back at square one. I didn’t know anybody in Alabama who could help me immediately. And was left with nowhere to go for HOURS the next day stranded outside a hotel with all of my belongings. I did make it back to Texas and I’m glad this did not break me. I felt like the wellhouse was very intentional in what they did and how they continue to this day to treat me based off LIES and their own disagreement with how I live my life. It’s like they wanted me to fail. And they washed their hands clean of me like I was nothing to them. Like I didn’t graduate the program. I’m happy to report I’m now a behavioral health tech and got a car and I’m doing amazing. But no thanks to the wellhouse. They have hurt me and my trust all over again. It took a lot for me to open up to them and let them in. And they stabbed me in the back and continue to do so. I could go on and on about the shady things that they do. The way they treat residents . The things that happened to me while I was there. But I’m trying to heal and move on from them . They made me feel like my entire life was the well house and it’s not but clearly I still am struggling healing from all of this. Anyways I do not recommend this place to anybody. Not if you want long term and healthy healing.

A great local organization in our community with updated amenities that helps support children and women who have been human trafficked. The staff is passionate and patient! The pictures don't do justice - this place has an amazing view.

This is the most peace-filled place that overwhelms you as soon as you enter. There is such hope that resonates around it and that begins with the staff. They are so passionate and loving and deeply care about their residents. It is an amazing place for women to come and find safety and security!

An incredible organization that is doing great work to heal and restore survivors. I was blessed to partner with them a few years ago when working with a survivor in need and I will continue to refer women to them in the future.

Worst experience! Do not go there! There are better places to go! Wish there was better service! All they care about is their reputation and money, not about the girls and their success! They push people backwards not forward! Sorry not sorry!
