This particular library branch seems geared towards younger kids. There is a space for them right near the entrance. Like other reviewers mentioned, it is open space, so noise may be a problem here.

Regardless, I've found some books at Rosemead Library I haven't at others in the area. It's also centrally located just down the street from Rosemead High, although this area outside it is principally Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. Great if you need to grab a bite before or after a session here.

Loudest library I've ever been too. Who's is charge of noise reduction? That's what I'd like to know. Libraries by historical protocol should would never tolerate such noise!

Made sure by checking on the internet the library hours before coming, it does show it’s open, however, once here it’s closed without explanation. It has happened several times.

Great manga and children books, it's jst that it's really noisy and stuff like kids running around yelling and crying. Not a very good area to study, also I need Dork diaries books back. Pls it's been 5 weeks and in the children area, there's still the first book of Dork Diaries.

Also, that one time I went here. I asked the staff where were the Writing books at, and she ignored me I had to repeat several times to get her attention away from the book she was reading.

Overall not so good.

Toodles! :33

The design of the library (open space, no nook) makes it become loud easily. Staff are ok n helpful

Very helpful staff. A good place to study and work on papers. Can get a bit noisy, but if you have Classical music playing through your headphones then it shouldn't be a problem. There are desks in the middle of the library as well as various places throughout the library.

This is the cutest little place for babies and toddlers, during babie and toddler time which is on Wednesday at 11 am. It's the best. They read like 1 book and then after they have playtime and they bring out lots of toys and little ride on cars and ball pits and play house fire truck. It's so awesome. I really recommend if you have a little one that crawls. He she really enjoy .

Too much noise for study. The staffs don't do good job. Children were crying, running around. Adults were talking loud, didn't respect people around. No power output in the center of the room

So noise! It looks like a childcare than a library.
