This organization told my beloved they would give her rental assistance. United has not fulfilled this promis nor acts like they have any knowledge of any of it and now she's about to be evicted due to this. United way does not deserve the respect nor merit they recieve. This is on them and I hope to God himself that don't sleep at night knowing the displacement of this young lady

Waited a year on the "Homemakers" program, was told to call 5/15/24 to be placed on a list. After calling, no word on acceptance into program. Today, after calling and leaving several messages, I was told the program is closed. Do better United Way, do better.

They are pleasantly however literate listening to instructions from IRS was difficult. The representative that assisted me was not experienced with Identity Theft Information Services because instructions from IRS were accurate and some jobs were exempt so I had not received any state taxes from one or two companies. Also if my social security number had been compromised You can not access the previous pins and he lack knowledge of this information. It’s been done before that my social security number has been compromised and still has issues with SSI and other organizations that are trying to overthrowing what the government has made of decisions that Identify theft going back two years or no more than three. Birmingham Alabama has a serious problem with Documentation and There knowledge of taxes are based on what they have been doing instead of what are the actual facts of the individual circumstances which are being different from those of files taxes. I’m well enough to get the documents they have prepared because it’s one issue pin of both years and I’ll just corroborate with IRS since I’ve got appointments soon. I used to be a tax preparer and just because I’m Ill doesn’t mean I can’t communicate with interpretation.

Got my VA covid shot there! They were so courteous and organize! Very professional....after hearing so much bad things about the VA it was refreshing to be able to grade them 100% on a job well done. Thank you United Way for helping to make this happen? ❤!!!

This was a location set up for Veterans to get their Covid vaccines. It was a great set up they took care of my dad and me. They even came to the car to help me with him. I so appreciated everything they did for us. They made the experience so much easier for my 97 year old father and me.

I'm receiving Meals on Wheels and the volunteers that deliver those meals are always so polite and nice I wish there were more people in the world like them
