In the first week both boys’ soccer balls were stolen despite their names were written on the in large, black print. Their snacks were stolen out of their lunch pails daily and nothing was done about it. The boys complained several kids were bullies. The older brother had to protect the younger one from being pushed about and threatened. One early afternoon my grandson texted me to pick him up - unusual request- I picked them both up and the older said his head hurt. No one said anything when I waited to get the boys. He explained a student came up behind him in class, pulled the chair out from under him and smashed his head against the table as he was falling. He did not know the kid. He went out the door after he regained consciousness and the teacher asked why he left. He cried explaining his head hurt and what transpired. The kid who did this was called outside and told apologize- but only gave a huff and went back in along with my grandson and the teacher. I notified his parents after we got to my house and dad took him to urgent care. He had a concussion and was to rest for a week. My daughter called the supervisor, he claimed they knew nothing about it. The children there are disrespectful to authority and the authority is indifferent to responsible, respectful children. I regret I enrolled them there so I could get a break from child care. They never returned there and I will never ask to get a break again. One cannot trust public child care facilities any longer.

If your child has a disability such as ADHD, this is not the program for them or you. I was told upon signing my child up for the summer program that they worked with kids who had ADHD. I made it VERY clear before paying. Day 1 of taking my son, an hour into him being there. I received a phone call from the "director" Tomas. Tomas was very unprofessional, texting on his phone while asking me to speak. It is very unfortunate that I was told they are taught how to help kids with ADHD but it is apparent that is far from the truth. He said they were very understaffed and could not "handle" my son. I really hope they take my sons situation as a learning experience and do better. I will be emailing/calling higher up people as well.

Told me there were “tons of kids” that signed up for 10 to 12 for summer soccer. Day of soccer, after I already paid, they put her in with kids that were 3 years younger than her. When I confronted them, they stated not enough kids signed up in her age group. No kidding, she is the only one. Despite this they would not refund.

My child joined the B&G club after school program as well as the soccer program and sadly I have to say both experiences were not great. The staff at the after school program seemed friendly however I feel they are under trained as my child ended up with a broken arm (yes, broken) due to employees not following rules of not participating in the sports with the children during hours. I was never compensated for my medical bills nor was there any repercussions for the carelessness of the employees. My child would also tell me that kids at the after school program would misbehave and the employees wouldn’t do much about it or ignore it all-together. I also learned from an employee at my child’s school that while the students wait out front of their school to be picked up by the B&G club bus the B&G club supervisor does not control the children’s behavior as they stomp on ketchup packets, throw trash, curse at one another and just overall misbehave. Secondly, during his soccer program we encountered one in particular coach (coach Olivia) who was very nasty from the minute I met her all the way through two seasons of soccer. If I had a question she didn’t like she would yell out that she doesn’t have to answer my questions in front of all the parents making a scene and embarrassing myself and my child. Also keep in mind if your child’s coach has a child on the team they WILL be shown favoritism over the other players, or maybe that was just the coach we encountered. When trying to get a hold of the manager of B&G club it was a run around and I was never able to speak to him. I find that even though the coaches are volunteers it’s very unacceptable to treat the parents in the way that coach Olivia did. My child will NOT be returning to any of their programs and if asked by others B&G club will not be recommended.

This club WAS awesome at one point. After being wrongfully let go over a text message while on a Covid leave that they put me on just shows the unprofessionalism of the management. The YPT staff are the ones that work very hard to make the club what it is but are never recognized or told about awards given. Only upper management get the glory and notoriety. There is NO place for special needs. Be very cautious and listen to your children if they tell you they are not comfortable there!
