Incredible people and intentions of the church family as a whole. Provide great Services to those in need and assist many in a state of transitional living. I couldn't say enough great things about this church, I am so grateful for all the help they have provided to me.

We were in town just for one night over Easter weekend. I selected this church because it is part of the "Reconciling Ministries Network," which is important to my family. The church is beautiful and the congregants were very friendly and welcoming. We were most surprised to be treated to a visiting orchestra and tenor soloist. What a delight! As a former Catholic, I also loved that is was the most "mass-like" service I've ever attended. I assume that was because it was Easter, but the music and the Latin prayers made me very nostalgic. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Birmingham, we will no doubt return to Highlands.

City is filled with homeless people yet the doors are locked. They can't figure out how a massive building with security can help end it. I perceived the lost commandment in an epiphany, and it was "authorized personnel only after hours, no loitering." The taller the church the further from God.

If each church in America took 5 homeless people, there would be no homelessness. Guess they're too cramped.

They are very accomodating to the Homeless with lunch/snack bags and hygiene items, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Very personable with caring volunteers and staff.

They feed homeless and just the hungry low income families or singles too they feed anybody they shows up doing feeding time 9am to 10am Monday thur Friday
