I reached out to The Nachbar House for a family friend who is in need of a sober living home but not where we live. I spoke to the owner Crystal and she was very informative and helpful. She provided details on her program and made me feel very comfortable in sending my family to her home. We were able to discuss everything and get them moved in within a couple days. Very happy overall and would recommend this home to anyone needing a solid sober living.

My mom is a recovering addict, and I know how important it is to find a healthy community to surround yourself with that supports your everyday needs. Crystal was such a pleasure to speak with and was extremely knowledgeable in the few minutes we spoke. The house is very clean and has amazing energy all around. I have lived here since July to current. I absolutely love it!! I just celebrated 2 yrs clean and sober and I never would have been able to achieve this without the support of Crystal and the Nachbar House. It's relaxing and calm here and it is a safe place for me to be when there are problems in my family ❤️. It allows me to protect my sobriety and peace of mind. Crystal has worked with me many times when I've had issues. She runs this place , not like a "facility" but like a home 🏠. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT 😊

Never met the owner and director only by text will not return calls not a samsha state certified sober living residence.
House Mgr is only been positioned for 3 weeks and young adult this nothing but a cash cow wannabe sober house, pictures are nothing like what I saw inside*

Theres not even actual website for this sober living home " only face book page"
better, paying rent for room at $700 a month and I've been sober living homes for past 7 years in California and Texas that are better organized and more efficient and licensed with the state *

These kind homes pretending be sober living homes give " real sober living certified homes bad name "

I recently had the opportunity to visit The Nachbar House and meet the Director Crystal! I was so skeptical about sober living homes because of all the bad stigma that surrounds them. But let me tell you it was NOTHING at all what I expected. The home is beautiful and gives such a peaceful, welcoming and overall serene feeling once you step inside. It’s clean organized and everyone seems to be at ease. Crystal was great in explaining how the program works and promised to always be a phone call away should I ever need her. I think this will be a GREAT fit for my brother and I am excited to have the help of The Nachbar House as he continues his road of recovery!

This sober living is great! I refer to the Nachbar House frequently. It's gender specific, very clean and well decorated. Its in a very good neighborhood and well structured. The owner Crystal is very ethical and her heart and motives are in the right place. I highly recommend!

Very clean house in a beautiful neighborhood. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Honestly the best choice for Sober living in Bakersfield if you want to be in area you can walk to all the places you need to go. Lots of good information and help with recovery available. Come on over and check it out.
