They have a men's and women's clothes and you can get a change of clothes once a day and take a shower. They provide snacks and then they give you something for lunch. They have separate computers for you to play on and for doing job and housing searches. They help young adults out of foster care from 18-25.

We love stopping here and donating things that can be helpful or used by others who are in need. I am handicap and they always have staff that are willing to come out and unload what I have in my car that I put in boxes or bags. They never complain and are always ready to help and they are a nice and friendly staff. We have been going there a little over 2 years now and we love it. Giving to the youth is so special because we want them to know they are LOVED.. and WE SHOULD donate all that we have or don't use. Its so important to have a place like this and I truly love to give ❤ If anyone wants to give to a good cause then this is the place to do it for sure. Take care and God Bless those who give 🙏 ❤

I've only been aware of the Dream Center for a couple of years and I wish I would have known a long time ago.
Every donation (of any kind) is so important for these young people.
Each and every time I've stopped by I'm meet with very happy youths that are so eager to help.
Bakersfield is such a giving community and I hope that when you can help ...please think of them they truly are helping our young people realize that they too are Loved.

Although I have had good times here, I don't find it okay to let a not only medically fragile human outside because their "2 hour limit is up" but it's even worse when you try to assume that the medically fragile human won't get sick from weather conditions. I Emily Rose Parker have Spina bifida and if you don't know people with this condition are paralyzed from a certain part of the body and for me I can't feel nor regulate my lower extremities body temperature and this can lead me up in the hospital for people like the front desk Clerk Alicia not trying to understand that this can end up very badly I don't like the way people think it's okay to just assume things instead of actually making sure I will be talking to the higher authorities and taking appropriate actions for this incident. We need to do better as a team and make sure certain things that could literally endanger someone else's life just because you're trying to do your so called job and so called follow rules don't put the person who is dealing with it in bad quote literally life threatening conditions.
