I am going through ovarian cancer and chemo which has caused me to lose almost all of my hair. I was given the Links For Life phone number at my oncologist's office (David Berz, MD). I have never worn a wig in my life (I'll be 63 in 18 days) and so I wasn't sure what to expect. Links for Life made the process SO easy!! The girl who did my wig-fitting was great! She really put me at ease. They treat you really, really well here. They give you goodies in addition to your wig. I can't recommend them highly enough!

In 2006, I was diagnosed with breast cancer as are 1:8 women and 1:100 men in this country. Links For Life helped me all the way through my journey, from wigs to support in an ongoing basis. There is a monthly support group for all ages of survivors, men and women. Funds raised locally stay local and are returned in services: mammograms, wigs, ultrasounds and needle biopsies. They are highly respected in the medical community.
What really impressed me was, two years ago, Nick Marantos, a breast cancer survivor was the Keynote Speaker at their major fundraiser. My husband and I think so highly of this local organization that we have put Links For Life in our Will and Trust.

Until I can hear or see men being mentioned I choice not to support you. I'll do my supporting towards MEN with breast cancer. So sad. I seen links for life on the news this morning and all I hear is talk about women with breast cancer. Why can't it be people with breast cancer ? I don't get it.
