Museums are such an important resource for communities, and I am glad that local officials understand this.
My daughter took sewing classes at MoAH; the instructors were knowledgeable and kind. Although the museum is free, I make sure to pay each time I go to show my appreciation. Donations (and merch sales) go towards funding ongoing operations, so it's definitely worth it.

Beautiful experience. I felt so much more close to the Joshua tree just having learned more about them. There is an interactive piece that is really unique.

I've seen to three different shows this year, I think they change it 4 times a year. I loved the exhibit that showed cassette tape being repurposed and knitted into beautiful works as well as tires being melted into a new creation. The latest one (Fall 2019) was a bit too dark for me. I'd suggest looking at the free exhibit guide they offer at the front desk to determine if little ones should see what is exhibited. Entry is free with a suggested donation. I also would highly recommend renting their rooftop space for an event. It's beautiful!
