I had an incredibly unsettling experience with Interfaith, where staff members Luis and Brandy made me feel judged, uncomfortable, and deeply triggered. From the moment I stepped in, it was clear that they treated me differently due to our skin colors not matching. The bias was painfully obvious and completely unprofessional for a place that is supposed to help people.

Brandy failed to explain the services available and, without properly communicating with me, told Luis that I refused help—which was entirely untrue. Luis then took things further by accusing me of smelling like alcohol and marijuana, which was not only false but felt like a personal attack. I went to Interfaith for support, not judgment, and these accusations were deeply triggering, making me feel unsafe and disrespected.

The way I was treated was especially disheartening, as I am in the process of starting my own nonprofit (Broken Chains & Cycles) aimed at educating people about human rights and helping end recidivism. My mission is to provide the kind of unbiased, supportive services that Interfaith failed to offer. I want to ensure that no one feels the way I did—judged, uncomfortable, and dismissed.

This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I hope Interfaith takes action to address the unprofessional, biased behavior of their staff. No one seeking help should ever leave feeling worse than when they arrived

I went there a while ago. very friendly people. They follow the guidelines. If you are not in a rush for help. you are in the right place. they are open to the homeless on Wednesdays between 1-4 PM! The best person to look for is Daniel. She is wonderful, kind hearted and extremely patient. Good organization if they leave their doors open more often.

A full service source for vets needing housing and other services. I've been with them a year now and greatly appreciate their assistance in getting me a Hud Vash voucher and assistance in with interim housing as well as finding permanent housing. They also provide free counseling with wonderful counselors.
