Total scam, non profit organization capitalizing on the homeless industrial complex, I'm a Marine Corps Veteran and a Firefighter Paramedic, due to extenuating circumstances my financial situation declined rapidly after my mother's stroke, my wife reached out to lighthouse for help, they gas lighted us told me they would help not to worry...specially since we have little ones under 5 in the household. They wasted almost two weeks of our time insuring us they would help with my rent they said to inform the leasing office that were now working with Lighthouse. Leasing office had no idea who Lighthouse even was. My wife reached out to these people hoping to find a way out of our situation accordig to thier website they assist Veterans with situations to avoid homelessness. After about 2 weeks of gas lighting us and messing around they abruptly told me they could not help me and kicked me to the curb very abruptly and said deal with your problems...me and my wife had to figure it out luckily i found an old cal fire check from state finance in the amount i needed for my rent check was in a stack of old mail. That bought me time and since then i landed a position as Paramedic with a 6 figure income. Lighthouse and their employees are totally heartless.....my mother had a massive stroke this situation led to my bad financial situation, I could not work for a.peroid of time to deal with my mother's situation. I'm not one to expect handouts....my wife called behind my back and I figured I would give it a shot. I was skeptical from the very beginning and did not expect anything. I should have went with my gut instinct. These people don't care about helping veterans....not that I expect anything for my service, but to waste my time like that this and get me closer to being evicted cmon.

They dont do what they suppose to. They promise you thing that they never do. They really set u up for failure. Someone embezzling money n it need to stop. We need help not another snake as fake poo program who only out for self

I would like to state that the Lighthouse programs have been an enormous assistance to my stability in housing and life necessities. The Lighthouse program has highly qualified professionals as the case manager Breanda Palomo who has always worked with me and made me feel comfortable with opening up to truly trust them to help me. The Lighthouse programs were monitoring my progress until I was capable of getting back on my financial footing and not having to be living homeless or suffering from the economic consequences of not having additional income to establish a footing in my community. This program has saved my life from a disaster that was avoided by immediate assistance and then helped me in other areas of my life. Thank you for excellent service and kindness to really helping me. I’m forever thankful and in their debt.

Don’t bother calling they only help if your riverside or San Bernardino county or get benefits from this area .God bless you all happy holidays ,keep your head up !

Mrs. Palomo has been very helpful with all aspects of the process that Lighthouse services have to offer. She is a true professional that knows how to get things done. I feel very fortunate to have met her and very grateful for her help and for Lighthouse and the awesome opportunity that they have afforded my wife and I.

Waited 8 months on this program to obtain housing. On the day I was supposed to secure a rundown apartment in SB my parole falsely violated me, so I had my family call to let them know I was interested upon release.They terminated me instead.

Well first of all, the organization has an absolute great purpose. Always a blessing to help a family or individual in need. Thank you Lighthouse! I am blessed to finally have a new Case Manager, Sam is an asset to this non profit organization. I would recommend anyone needing assistance to reach out and ask for help. Sam, I personally want to tell you thank you for all your dedication and hard work.

I would give them a zero rating but that wasn't an option. These people tell you to come into the office they're open till 5:00 I got there at 3:30 the office door was closed. I had to hunt down one of the workers I found in a small room not doing his job but putting together Halloween decorations

He says he was on his way out but he can copy my documents for me he asked my name when I told him he said oh yeah I know who you are he's all good let me see what you brought look to my documents said okay this is everything we need let me make coffee and I'm going to be handling your case from now on. You told me to call him in 3 days and he would let me know the status of my application. 3 days later when I tried contacting him he did not respond to the messages I left on his voicemail the message I left with the coworker. Here we are a week later I finally talked to a supervisor of United Way and she said she had received none of my paperwork from them nor the application from them. I've done case management in the past and never would have handled any of my clients in this manner they have no idea what they're doing nor do they care to learn.
