I actively stay here and they fired the former overnight guy to hire a Karen who will sit there and judge you cut you off at every sentence not allow you to do what is needed for your kids like something as simple as play a lullaby I rate it more than one star only because most of the other staff is very nice but be careful cause of your baby like to listen to white noise or lullabies at night Cynthia is going to make you turn it off because " it's not being a mom if you want to put your baby in the stroller with a phone" if you ask me they need to actually have someone with kids from this generation who understands that some kids need that music to sleep

They called the cops on my daughter for get upset that she wasn't allowed to cuddle my 2 year old grandson to help him get to sleep. I called them in a very calm voice even was sad and the main personel was a man and extremely rude and had a lack of compassion period. Got angry with me for telling him he didn't sound like a Christian. They are not Christian based, the only portray it but the staff there tell lies and ruin the already ruined lives of the people. Very sick. Not at all real Christians. Why is it against regulation for a mother to lay next to her child to comfort them to sleep

When I go through my clothes or if I have nice things that I don't want or need i love taking them to the Gospel mission because these folks need them and it makes me feel good that I can help them & our community.Happy birthday America 🇺🇸.

Had horrible experience with service. I have k9 service dog. Went there ask something important for friend told me leave because don't allow dogs. Informed them not pet. Service dog
Working dog and am allowed to have her anywhere I go. Told me didn't care needed leave. Crazy be treated like that my lab is trained and has all paperwork and duties my disability.

They are unfair to the ER women, especially their program people are superior there, they can't do n wrong except cause trouble for the ER people and no one likes the ER people idk why proby because of their own problem.

Lower level staff apparently enjoy shaming people publicly then deny entrance which means you won't eat nor get dog food. Basically starve you and your pet. Donations are used as tools of punishment, while the staff are served higher quality foods than those that donations are intended for

There are no set of rules posted for the people there and punishments are handed down based on the mood of the staff member.

Could be helpful for some but for most the people you see there will tell you of the misery they endure daily.

UPDATE: They held a car wash and into the alley i drove in. They said no you can't come in this way and had me drive out and pull through their dirt lot in which it exits back into the same spot of the alley. I donate $10 I drive out and now my car is warning me of
a low tire pressure. I buy fix a flat $10, doesnt work, i pay to have it plugged it doesnt work, i let the mission know and proceed to buy a used tire until staff reaches me, its now been 1 month with me calling multiple times and still nothing. , I find out you need a permit which city informs me was not given. I assume they were trying to sneak around the permit by having people enter their property so it doesnt look like its a public car wash but i fabe a ride to ine member half a mile away to hold up signs.

I ask for a receipt for tax purposes to prove there was a car wash and it says $10 donation for car wash. Admission of guilt.

Then i look at the bottom of the receipt which states donations are not for any exchange of goods or services. Clearly there was an exchange of services.

So not only did they illegally hold a car wash but committed fraud.

I donated only to pay for damages due to their neglect andas an insult, still no response at all.

Complete disregard for those who donate.

I volunteered here and it’s a great place that goes above and beyond to help the less fortunate. They provide meals, housing, clothing And best of all spiritual guidance. I The staff is amazing!!! ❤️
