I joined a suicide prevention workshop over zoom through the Gelt charitable foundation.
I was really impressed with the clarity, with the presentation, and the content. It was clear, easy to understand, informative, applicable, and engaging. Engagement is key in any training! I would definitely like to attend more of their trainings, and if I ever were to give a training, think of this foundation first.

The Suicide Prevention Workshop provided key strategies to help those we care about who may be considering suicide. It was important to hear about misconceptions around suicide and very beneficial to learn skills necessary to be a mental health "lifeguard". As a sorority advisor, I am grateful to be able to better support the collegiate women that I support. I am thankful that my chapter officers and general membership were also able to participate in this worthwhile program.

This course provided information that was very beneficial to me. Suicide is a very important topic to me and a very touchy subject to a lot of people, i respect the way it was talked about and taught so well. It is very important to know how to communicate with someone who is experiencing suicidal thoughts and how to recognize the signs of a suicidal person. This course helped me to know what to do if someone around me needs help.

I went to the See Something Say Something workshop and it was so amazing! I learned so much on how to assist those with suicidal symptoms to help them get what they need to improve their mental health, from how to be the go-between with a hotline to being an empathic listener. I recommend this workshop to everyone, especially teens! Having this experience strengthens your ability to help people and destigmatize mental health!
