I have been witness to various changes at this clinic and I can say this is absolutely a great place to trust with your recovery needs. Like any place with multiple staff members, different personalities can shape any experience, add to that the different attitudes of clients that definitely swing in all directions depending on so many different factors like withdrawal,effects of using mind altering substances, social instances in toxic relationships, and an entire book full of various possible combinations of dysfunctional lifestyle situations, it's a blessing to have this place with people willing to show up daily to face another unsuspecting day. I've had experiences that if I could I'd prevent from happening I would. Unbelievably enraging interactions with surprisingly incompetent staff, making me wonder how they slipped through the cracks, and not only obtained employment, but supervisor!?! Ok that's only one person, I had a counselor that I looked. Forward to seeing, I had many up days and down days. I wouldn't say the clinic is awful, reading some reviews I'd say if you expect the responsibility of your happiness, comfort, joy, or even think you're "special", falls in someone else's hands, you need more than what this clinic offers. All the staff is great,(now). I remember a time I could have caught a major case, Thanks Eureka,Rowe,Jenn,Trudy,Dr.Moore❤️. All the counselors, (even Mary), Most importantly the cleaning lady

I see Dr Moore and Trudi as my family physicians, and not for any addiction reasons.
They have been the most generous and truly caring practionaires in my 62 years of life.
They spend enough time with you to know your condition for treatment and often go steps beyond that to help you.
They are a blessing to AMA and the public with their focused dedication to human medical condition.

This is hands down the best clinic I have ever attended. And I am no beginner. It was through the kindness of Jennifer, and the councillors that I am now celebrating 10 years clean. The treatment is not for people who have just "discovered" their problem. It entails drastic life changes, and the medicines used are addictive on their own, but the ponly thing that has gotten me off the streets, and headed in the right direction.

Dosing nurses give out the wrong doses often and if you as a client don't catch it they blame you for a nurse mis medication her patents. The counseling staff are inept and ignorant as hell. The head of the counseling staff is a African amarican gentalmen who did his treatment in Sinninon based treatment fisilities and still treats his clients as if he's still there. The counselors will put right tell you if your a private pay client your not as important becouse they over charge medical for services and get more from homeless jobless people becouse they are padding their bills at this clinic. These clinic are getting and act like it.

WARNING ! My brother and his girlfriend completed treatment here at the richmond baart. As soon as they left, this clinic sold their personal information to others. They sold the info to other rehabs, so now everyday rehabs are calling his personal cell phone .
I have been attending this clinic for over 2 years, since my brother was able to get clean I thought I could too.
However, today I went into the clinic like I always do, and they said I have been kicked out. I was in shock, I have never been told not once that I was going to be kicked out.
I dont take any other drugs but methadone, I always had clean urine test, I even had multiple take homes for being a good client.
Now they give me 1 day heads up that they will no longer be giving me my medically perscrebed methadone I have been taking for over 2 years. No warning, no heads up at all, not even information on other clinics to get sober.
Right infront of the building people are selling their medication, doing drugs and drinking. You would think those people would get kicked out before someone who actually wants to get sober.

This 5 star review is for "Eureka" one of the main people in charge at this facility. She listens, cares, and has empathy. Eureka has listened to my concerns and fears and has been very helpful. I trust her %100 and this facility is lucky to have a lady like her.
