A amazing place for people 55 and over. We attended a open house and it was just first class all the way... The model homes are beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Great concept for a small community. You see private clubs/amenities in huge 55 and over developments like Somerset, but this one has just 168 homes. My wife got excited about the pool (kind of lounge-y, like a hotel pool) but the bocce ball court got me. We have family on the Monterey Peninsula so we know how crazy real estate prices are 30 minutes away. Price range at Twin Oaks is $650,000-750,000 so a really good value for a gated community this close to the Bay Area.
