The festival was fantastic again this year. Sure, there were a few problems because of all the mud due to heavy rains the day before the event started, but that just added to the authenticity of the medieval setting. If you are still in search of a festival that hasn't yet become overwhelming due to the crowds being so large as not to fit the space, then this is the place to be! If you want a slightly smaller crowd experience, go on Sundays instead of on Saturdays. Also, bring cash!

Had a wonderful time! First time coming to visit and will not be the last. Will be back next year!!!!! Arts and crafts vendors were amazing, food vendors not so much honestly….. but I can overlook that. Had an amazing experience, cosplayed for the first time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. Courteous and professional vendors, staff was epic, joust was an actual contact jousting match and you could feel the energy everyone put into it. Will be back next year!

This is typically a great time. This year is was so muddy that you couldn't walk without sliding and sinking in mud. No one informed us of how muddy it was while paying to get in. We walked around once up and down hill in mud and decided to leave before one of us fell. Our shoes were ruined already. We attempted to buy a turkey leg and they had gone up to 20 dollars for 1. The parking was a mud pit. We almost bogged down leaving. I feel they could have discounted the price of admission since half the place was inaccessible.

Aside from the mud, thanks to the torrential soaking from the day before, it was a great ren fair (it just added to the authenticity)! Lots of unique vendors, great food, I highly suggest the Mac n cheese pie and Scottish eggs! Yum! Educational layouts around the grounds kept the everyone entertained, along with the hero's quest for the kids, and shows for all ages going on regularly throughout the day. Watching the joust was fun for the family. Definitely want to arrive early as the event was popular!

I was a merchant there. Great people running it, decent site, and with any Renn faire there are always improvements that will be made for the next year I am not going to complain, instead I'm going to make suggestions which I believe will help more. There was the road that got tore up by weather and merchants trying to get in with big vehicles and trailers. Perhaps putting gravel down might help get it to not clay up. But they had a vehicle helping merchants get unstuck. The owners were on top of things to make the best of a situation! Perhaps making little drainage ditches to allow the water to drain from the road. And lastly maybe some roll up sidewalks in the merchant area in case of another rain filled weekend. The owners put on a great faire and tried to compensate for the weather they cannot control. Side note for other merchants. I "fog walked" our space and four others because of the amount of garbage left behind after pack out and picked up all I could. That is not fair to our host. Perhaps next faire be more mindful. All in all, good people all around, good experience.
