Thursday 11:30am Val led a very successful Music time. Half of a hundred Parents and kids there enjoy Music, play together and socialize. Really a relaxing and wonderful time. My grandson loves it very much. Thanks.

My grandson loves Music time led by Val. Very relaxing and amazing . It is every Thursday 11:30am. Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, What a lovely day!
1/30/2025 Thursday 10:30am Spanish Storytime. Good to learn some basic Spanish and communicate with Spanish Children.Also by Val. 11:30am Music by Val Very popular. Almost hundred parents and kids learn and enjoy Music with Val. Happy Chinese New Year Music Class by Val.

An excellent facility in Redwood City very close to the railway station. Any resident can get a permanent card free of charge while a visitor can get a temporary registration valid for 90 days. It has a mini discussion room, a big room to conduct collaborative workshops. Would love to visit as many times as possible.

Dec 2023 - I could easily spend hours in the library.. it's my happy place.. walking by the isles and discovering new books is just wonderful. I appreciate everything you do to keep the library a part of the neighborhood. Thank you so much and happy holidays.

This library is huge and has a great children's area. Lots of things for the kids to do. Including idpad staions for the younger children to learn at. They have regular weekly storytimes in English and Spanish. Their collection of Spanish books is also larger than most libraries in the area. I love to come here between 12-3pm when it's the quietest and least crowded in the children's area.

Redwood City has the highest unhoused population in San Mateo County. The back of the library has permanent encampments. The unhoused population creates a very distressing , unsafe environment for general public. There are cop cars always, random people walking on the tracks, people under the influence of substances etc all are unfortunately terrible for families especially children. Dont even know why the city allows this to happen. The library has enabled them further.

Libraries are such a joke these days. You have to go to the “quiet zone” to get any quiet, yet it’s nonstop kids and yobs talking at full volume. Oh wow this one is actually on his phone smh
