I ended up in the hospital today. I walked in with severe head and chest pains. The staff immediately tended to me. Everyone was so gentle and kind. I was able to get tests done very quickly. My prescriptions were already waiting for me before I was even discharged. I’ve never had such a pleasant hospital visit. So thank you everyone for taking care of me. I will forever be grateful

I was provided excellent care when I passed out in the shower and landed on my head. I had a big gash on my forehead and a smaller one on my chin, which they nicely stitched. A CT scan revealed my jaw was fractured on both sides.

They gave me the imagery from the CT scan on a disk. I will get a referral from my healthcare provider back home with that.

I am grateful for the quality care and the relative speed of it.

This hospital provides terrible medical care. My brother is currently with them and they have refused to address critical symptoms such as delirium and cognitive issues, and he has fallen out of his bed in their care. They are planning to move him because they "need the bed" not because he has improved. He is not improving under their care. They are now transferring him to a facility with reviews that state several patients have died or been seriously injured in their care. Additionally, his nurses have been incredibly rude and uncaring. They have asked us, his family, to reset malfunctioning machinery so it wouldn't beep anymore, without addressing the fact that it was broken. They also let him soil himself repeatedly and left him sitting in his own waste. We were able to see and smell it when we visited.

Several years ago, I went to the ER for extremely exacerbated asthma symptoms and was sent away when their doctor called it "anxiety." My husband had to carry me into a different ER the next morning with a 104 degree fever due to the pneumonia Montclair Hospital neglected to treat when I was there. I could have died due to their medical neglect.

If you care about yourself and your family members, find another hospital.

Sarah M RN was my nurse in MST She has always been very attentive to me And she takes the time to listen to me. She gets her job done in a timely manner. My night nurses don't take good care of me compared to my day nurses. The nightmares just make me feel like I'm bothering them.

I had a pretty nasty fall last night and since it wouldn't stop bleeding, it was Time for the er. Everyone was wonderful. They assessed the problems and did what needed. They checked to make sure there were no surprise problems and treated what needed attention. They were all great and I'm sending many thanks to them all. ?

Well The ED nurse on the morning shift that was assigned to my father William Anderson at bed 9 on 1/13/25 was efficient and kept us updated on his care/medication. Once my father was admitted and transferred to MST department a gentleman by the name of Abbie meet us while in route to his room and ran ahead of us to get my father charts ready. While my father was being put in his bed a lady by the name of Lena greeted us with the most welcoming smile and conversation. Unfortunately Lena was not my father's nurse but she was the nurse of my father's roommate. Lena is amazing, knowledgeable, and efficient. Lena did assist with my father even though she was not his nurse. Lena is so good at what she does that she took care of both all most simultaneously. Her demeanor is so warm and inviting. Abbie went above and beyond to assist as well especially with getting both my phone and my father's phone charged.So appreciate the two.
Once the morning shift came on we meet with Courtney and Dorothy. Omg!! The treatment continued. Courtney jumped right in and listened to my father and myself, communicated well our needs, concerns to doctor Shikh. I mean such an amazing team. Dorothy came right in and immediately noticed that I stayed over night with my father and slept in a very uncomfortable chair and assured me that she would find something more comfortable for me. Dorothy expressed to us that she loves what she does, loves helping people, and if we as people don't help one another than who will. She is absolutely correct. To sum it all up Dorothy brought me a comfortable reclining chair plus clean blankets. Now Internal Medicine Doctor Shaikh listened closely to my father's needs and concerns. He informed Cardiologist Chow of a plan plus concerns who also came in and executed the same thing attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. What an amazing team. Wish nothing but the best for them all and a Happy New Year to them and their families. Stay blessed and safe always.

Usually the service here is great! Nice people and the wait is a few hours.
But tonight Jan 3, been here since 1 pm, it's the worst service, a couple was here since 11am they gave up and left, at 6:30pm. All they did was admit, I'm here with a friend who I help, and she's in ALOT of pain, still waiting, this is the worst time, they really need 2 drs on days were it feels like nothing is done and no one is called, they keep saying there's no beds available yet they are waiting for beds to be available, well the majority don't care about beds, we just want to be seen, this is ridiculous! 1/3/25 worst service. I get people are ill, but waiting since 1pm. Been here waiting 7 hours, they NEED to get 2 drs on the floor, like other medical places do. I like this hospital bc it's quik, but bc of this service I don't want to come. Today I wouldn't give any starts, the few workers are nice, but I've never given zero review. Some things has got to change. There's others that have been released and they have a cold, but others have been waiting over 6-7 hours, ridiculous. We were finally called after 12 hours, they stopped calling for one hour, waiting from was packed, now after this experience I don't want to go anymore, but still might have to bc it's the closest one.

Dr Alexander Lee, Darrell in Radiology and the MRI Tech and ER Nurses were all very nice and attentive and took good care of me. I seem to be on the mend. I been here before and will keep coming back. Very good ER.
