One of the most rewarding aspects of volunteering with Youth for STEM Equity is the chance to witness the curiosity and excitement that emerges in the children as we engage them with fun-filled STEM activities. The joy in their eyes when they build a DNA model, engineer a boat, learn about chemistry through elephant toothpaste volcanoes, and more is simply indescribable. Each time we introduce a new concept or activity, I am reminded of the power of education and the immense potential that lies within these bright young minds.
