The occupational therapist went above and beyond and got my mom set up with a Bidet to help with independence in toileting. Rachel reached out in her first sessions with my mom to hear my perspective and get kind of the backstory so she could better assist my mom with her goals. Occupational therapist has kept me in the loop the whole time,

As her daughter, I anticipated they would help care for my dear mother. I did not anticipate the care they provided me. From the person who answered the phone to the person who showed up at the door, I was always met with patience, understanding and genuine desire to help.

Hospice's unwavering support extended to my entire family, offering guidance and comfort as we navigated this deeply emotional journey. Hospice recognized the connection between mom's well-being with the well-being of those who loved her,. Hospice provided invaluable resources and counseling to help us cope with the grief and pain from mom’s passing. My mom wished to pass at home, with family surrounding her. Without Hospice, we could not have honored her final wish.

I wanted to say that the care that my father-in-law received both prior to and while in hospice was exceptional. This grumpy old man was very wary about in-home care - he'd had a less than wonderful experience with "skilled nursing" facilities. Not only did each nurse and home health aide listen to him, they put his mind at ease and he actually enjoyed their visits. Nurse Jordan knew exactly how to get him to relax and even joke with her. The 2 different health aides that came to bathe him made him feel wonderful, too. He passed in our home on Christmas Day and the nurse who came out (sorry, most names are all a blur) treated him with such respect and tender care and we are so grateful. I also wanted to say that everyone at Butte Home & Hospice listened and addressed all of our questions, no matter the day or time we called. We truly can't thank them all enough!

All of the people at Butte Home Health have been so wonderful. My 92 year old neighbor fell and broke her hip.I was very nervous when she came back home that she would need far more care than my family and 1 IHSS worker could provide. Then Butte Home Health reached out to me. The RN (Ashley) from BHH came the very next day after we were contacted. She was so kind to my neighbor. She seemed so happy and knew just what to do. Her calm demeanor and smiling face helped put to rest a lot of my fears.
Then we met Danielle, the physical therapist, and Bridget, the occupational therapist, and Lucy, the home health aide, and the list goes on!!! Each and every worker was so gentle and respectful to my neighbor. They helped with some tools that were needed to assist my neighbor around her house. They helped coordinate some medical issues. They helped with bathing and house keeping. They did everything I could have possibly asked for and even some things I would have never thought of.
Next week we will meet a couple new workers who will continue to work with my neighbor until she is back on her feet. I am so grateful for BHH and especially the precious workers!!!!
