I recently visited the Xfinity store in San Mateo, and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Elijah. From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly helpful and professional. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my service and offered clear, knowledgeable solutions. Elijah made sure to explain all my options in detail, ensuring I understood everything before making any decisions. His friendly attitude and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out, and it made my visit a positive experience. If you're at the San Mateo Xfinity store, definitely ask for Elijah—he knows his stuff and genuinely cares about helping customers. Highly recommend!

Staff here are usually friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they try to complete the transaction as soon as possible. Location is convenient next to Trader Joe’s. Tip: Make an appointment online to get priority over walk ins.

The San Mateo store has excellent costumer service however union city store didn't want to help me just to get a transfer code to different carrier on my mobile. The smile is gone I guess they no going to make money....they forget some times people come back.

I’ve been a long-time Xfinity customer, but my recent experience at the Xfinity store at 35 W Hillsdale Blvd, San Mateo, CA was incredibly disappointing. I had an 11:00 AM appointment to resolve a SIM card issue, but after waiting over an hour past my appointment time, I was finally seen by a representative who made an inappropriate comment about my veteran status.

The issue was not resolved, and when I asked for help, Supervisor Lianne was unhelpful and told me to use the Xfinity app, despite my confusion. Supervisor Dalina then accused me of fraud and dismissed my concerns, telling me to “close my mouth and listen.”

I ultimately had to call customer service to resolve my issue. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and respect at this store. I hope Xfinity addresses these customer service issues, especially with supervisor training on communication and respect.

I wish I could give a good review. The person who helped me was great, and I was in and out setting up two new lines. Unfortunately, their training is incorrect and I was lied to you about the RMA process for a trade-in phone. I am now on a wild goose chase to try and get my credit towards my iPhone 16 Pro.

One star (if I could do 0 I would) to the lady working the check in desk or whatever it’s called. Walked in and was told “be right with you” never was got to. It’s my first time here so idk how this store works. In Arizona there’s someone checking people in right at the door not at some desk. Found out I had to put my name on a list as well as many others. African American woman “checked me in” but didn’t because how did 5 other walk in after me get helped after I put me name down? She asked some guy pushing a cart to stop what he was doing to help me. She was talking down to people as if they were toddlers. Half of those people were Spanish or Asian and spoke very little English and she’s belittling them and saying “listen to me I am saying to you” talking slow as if they will still listen. Girl get a new job. You look miserable, and you make the other employees miserable. It all shows on their faces and body language I wish there was another xfinity in my area so I would t have deal with that lady again. She didn’t apologize for not putting my name down. She’s not inviting at all. She’s just there for a paycheck. And does not care about her worth ethnic nor the company she represents. It’s absolutely ridiculous I had to wait almost an hour just to pick up a damn modem. Maybe the manager should’ve helped her colleagues with how busy it was. But she was focused on just being behind that desk standing there.

Do yourself a favor and don’t use Xfinity. They won’t trade in my phone. Sent it back to me and sent me on a wild goose chase that led nowhere.

It’s a scam to take your money. The mobile service SUCKS!!!!! Takes forever to load using data. Download songs on your phone if you want to workout and listen because the service sucks.

I’m so disappointed I went with them for mobile and plan on changing as soon as possible. Still want to get my trade in they promised me

The worst experience with customer service. Hillsdale Store manager is unprofessional and out of her depth. After waiting for my turn and I requested to escalate to manager , she informed I had to wait another 30 minutes to talk to her and she told me upfront she would not fix issue as it was caused by Xfinity support center and I had to go back to them for the 4th time ( aren’t they both working for Xfinity ) I would recommend avoiding at all costs. Store manager blames support center and support center pushes back to store and good luck folks.
