A social club with good Italian food and sophisticated "old money" ambiance.
It was completely empty on Friday early afternoon so we had a very private dining experience. The buratta was my highlight, I loved that it was a bit denser than usual and had a lot of flavor.
The service was very attentive and friendly, not snobby.

A phenomenal enclave of Italian American culture and hospitality, the foundation creates a welcoming atmosphere. The service is wonderful and nostalgic dishes from a simple Nonna's tomato sauce to a more exquisite truffle risotto the Taverna is a meeting point for many members and their guests. The townhouse itself is a remarkable testament to pre-war building standards in Manhattan. To be here around Christmas time is magical. I love what the foundation stands for and their promotion of education among the Italian American community.

We had our company Christmas party here. The location is amazing. A late 1800's townhouse that looks amazing in the inside with most of the original finishes. Food and service were top notch.

Very cool club with old school intricately carved oak walls. Nice restaurant downstairs with great food and exceptional service.
