The evil women who runs this mission charged me $400.00 a month to stay there. One hundred was in food stamps. She's playing with GOD and deserves to be brought to justice. How can anyone charge a homeless man on a fixed income.Im sure her late husband is rolling over in his grave. Anyone with the legal experience is asked to step up to the plate, because it's the right thing to do!!

This is a place we're People come to seek help and find it, if they're willing to receive . Esther stresses the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which leads to changes for the better in People's lives. This is a home and a family.

It is a good place. At first I was so judgey on the environment. But this place has made me not feel that way. I enjoyed going to their Bible studies. Everyone here is friendly

The woman who runs this place who introduced herself as Ester is totally unfit to run this place. She picks and chooses who can be there. Her husband is probaby rolling over in his grave. She abuses her authority and needs to be removed.

It provides services for the poor and homeless. Could use additional donation. Praise God. It has expanded since I've started working with them 15 years ago.

The Porterville Rescue Mission is changing lives. I personally have seen it. Pastor Esther Ramirez and her wonderful staff took my girlfriend and me in last December, and we have been treated as family. We were literally dropped off on their doorstep, and immediately we were greeted with warmth and comfort on a cold rainy night. We are still here, and by the grace of God my girlfriend, others and myself have had life changing events. I myself have have a closer relationship with God, in part to the daily bible study teachings and ministry lead by Ester Ramirez. Others here including my girlfriend have a closer relationship with God too. They are changing lives here, not just spiritually. They give everyone here and others who have passed through the gates hope, a family, a safe place to stay and great support for whatever needs we may experience. May God bless Pastor Esther and all associated with the New Porterville Rescue Mission abundantly and forever!

The owner of this establishment harasses people. She also takes donations for her own needs and doesn’t put them towards the mission. She is supposedly a non profit organization but yet takes 35% of homeless residents income.
