I usually don’t leave reviews because I work at an establishment that gets paid off of reviews and I’m just not one to take money from someone’s family.

I had the worst customer service experience ever tonight at my home town Jacks on the north end of Fort Payne and I will never go back. I understand that some things have a wait and I would’ve been a better sport about this if someone had apologized for my lengthy wait on an order of mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw and two biscuits. I waited more than 20 minutes for these items with a screaming 10 month old in the back seat. Four people left after I ordered with their food and I still sat there waiting in the drive through. I went in the first time and asked where my food was and they assured me it would be out soon. I went back outside and waited about 5 more minutes until my child started screaming again so I got him out of the car seat took him inside and waited until they gave me my food. I didn’t receive an apology, a 10% discount or ANYTHING. The workers were complete smart asses. I walked back out and was fuming. I put my child in the car walked back into Jacks and asked why it took so long to receive my food and the least they could’ve done was apologize. I then received a half ass apology from the “manager” on duty and she shrugged her shoulder and said I gave you the reason it took so long for your food. Joke of a restaurant and your employees are even worse. Definitely not courteous of other people’s time or have any sympathy for other human beings. This would’ve have turned out way different for me if they would have treated me with more respect. I worked in fast food for 11 years and never treated anyone the way I was treated tonight. This is not the first time I have went through this same restaurant and my order be wrong almost every time but I understand people have bad nights and I always keep going back because it’s fast. Shame on me for going back ever again.

We have eaten there a few times. I always try to get something different every time. The fried chicken dinner was very dry it must have been sitting for a long time. The Hamburger was good. Service was friendly and places we stopped at all was clean.

We ordered at the drive through window at Jacks in Ft. Payne for the last time today. We love Jacks, but the past two times at this location have been very disappointing. My wife ordered their special, the Southern BBQ Pub Burger. What she received was a mashed, unappetizing, thrown together burger which looked nothing like the pictures on TV or their web site. First, like I said, it was mashed (picture 2). Then two beef patties on a dry bun (picture 3). Then all condiments were just thrown on there in a pile (picture 4). There was only a dab of the special barbecue sauce, not spread on thick as advertised (picture 4). Finally, one of the beef patties looked like someone had taken a bite out of it when making the burger (it was given to our dog before I could take a picture). I ordered the chicken dinner. We were given no napkins or eating utensils. I hope this is just a local problem and not systematic. Good bye Jacks.

First time trying Jacks during a mini-vacation trip. Typical Fast Food joint with a focus on Fried Chicken and Burgers. Apparently a new cashier was just starting her shift as I entered the restaurant. She was pleasant, but very soft spoken. I had to ask her to repeat herself a couple times to make sure I understood her. Two other sets of customers came in behind me and placed their orders. I then had to ask for a beverage cup for my meal. I waited as both other customers had their orders filled and then finally my 2 cheeseburgers and fries were given to me. Fries were hot and good, Cheeseburgers were a little on the small side but tasted ok. Hope this wasn't a typical Jacks service.

I got two wraps and I took a bite and thought that’s awfully cold and small. At this point I can’t even complain it had like two pieces of egg. They gave me a just plain bacon and cheese wrap ? on to my next one it was made well aside from the hair cooked into the cheese ?

Didn’t give a receipt. The cashier seem to have an attitude or manager. Also my mash potato was poured all over the back and my sauce was open when came home to eat. Was really expecting to enjoy a nice treat but it was just a disappointment. 🙁 never again

Usually this place has fast, friendly service with a great breakfast. Today, not so much. The eggs were thin and dry, almost like it was bottom scrappings. We had the deluxe breakfast. Only thing good was hash rounds. The biscuits were thin and almost flat. The pics show the half of the biscuit, honesty the other half was that thin as well, didn't think to take pictures before. I hope they do better next time, and this was just an off day for them. They were very busy, I know, but no excuse for food like that.
