My mother is a patient in ICU at this time. We could have not asked for better care. Dr. Marten has been so good with her and the family also. The nursing staff was great also. Thanks for taking such good care of my Mama.

I am a caretaker for a close friend and brought her to the ER this morning with her having symptoms of chest pains. We were immediately put in a room and Dr. Smith was the attending physician. I felt very compelled to write a review on his behalf due to being treated myself many times before and this particular doctor was amazing. His thoroughness and professionalism was over and beyond any other physician I have ever seen and treated my loved one with the best of his ability. Special shout out for Dr. Smith as I see him personally as a fabulous asset to our local hospital facility. Thank you Huntsville Hospital for your stepping up the game of care and professionalism in the medical industry.

Outpatient surgical services were exceptional. Very pleased from start to finish. I had zero expectations for a small hospital, but DeKalb Regional far exceeded them. From check-in to discharge, everything was great. I even had a private room prior to and after my treatment which was a pleasant surprise. Outpatient staff - excellent. Pre-op staff and anesthesiology nurse - excellent. Post op staff - excellent. Everyone was on their 'A game' - friendly, efficient, kind, thorough. What do I have to compare this to? Some of the best hospitals in Houston, TX which are high rated in the country. I have no complaints about the care I received, and feel for a small regional/rural hospital, they do a good job. I can't speak for more serious conditions, but for my outpatient procedure, they were very good. Thank you.

My mother recently had a procedure at DeKalb Regional Medical Center and received excellent care. She is a nursing home resident and requires total care. Every single staff member showed patience and met her with compassion. I can’t express how thankful I am for a community hospital that strives to provide exceptional care to all its people.

I had an unexpected trip to the ER, and I want to express my deep appreciation for the care I received. Kayla at the front desk was incredibly comforting and compassionate when I needed it most. The entire team, including Dedra, RNP, the phlebotomist, and the rest of the staff, treated me with dignity and showed genuine empathy for my situation. I’m truly grateful for their kindness and professionalism.

I took my son to the ER after a horrible stomach virus, or so that is what I thought, it was much worse, he had a bacteria from undercooked chicken and the ER doc diagnosed and treated him promptly. The nursing staff in the ED went above and beyond to take care of my little boy as well. I normally go to Children’s for all pediatric issues but I was very pleased with my care and would use them again if the situation arises.

My husband was sent for outpatient labs because the local urgent care could not find a vein to draw blood from. After they made multiple attempts they sent him to the hospital. The registration process didn't take too long and the lab was excellent. Shelia did a great job.
She drew his blood in one attempt and he barely even felt the needle!

I had outpatient surgery here today and I just wanted to brag on literally everyone that I came in contact with today . From the sweet nurse who got me settled in my room, to my preop nurse John, the tech that assisted me to surgery, EVERYONE in surgical hold (and what little I remember from the surgery room), the PACU nurses (especially mine but sadly I don’t remember her name due to the anesthesia and pain lol), and back to my sweet post op nurse who I believe was named Melissa. Everyone had amazing bedside manner. They were very professional, so kind, and made truly cared about their patients !!
