Heart of Solidarity has been my go to non-profit for about 4 years now. I found them through a Facebook group and let me tell you these are some of the kindest, hard working, trustworthy and diligent group of people I have ever worked with. At first it was about helping each other out but over the lock down it has transformed into a central for connecting people who need ANYTHING in these hard times to others that can help or might just have what u need. This past Christmas they ran out of people to help for Christmas presents so they decided to reach out to local schools and see if they needed help. They helped so many people this Christmas it brought tears to my eyes. Heart of Solidarity is the kind of non profit the world needs right now but multiplied so that others outside of the bay area may also have such a wonderful non-profit to turn to.

Hearts of Solidarity is an amazing community of families who help each other out and pay it forward. This organization ran by a dedicated group of volunteers whose sole purpose appears to be helping families that need. If you are struggling and need help feeding your family or clothing them or just need to find your faith in humanity again you should check us out. Over the last few years I have gotten to know a lot of the individuals who participate and consider some of them dear friends now. I first found H.O.S. When my son was diagnosed with leukemia at two (he is now remission and is doing great.) So many members donated things to help us get through those times, from toys, to comfy blankets, to sleeping bags, diapers, and Christmas gifts, thanksgiving dinners, advice, hugs and sooooo much more. The best part is when I meet someone who is in need I know i can send them to the group and they will be taken in, no questions asked, no judgements passed and helped if at all possible. This community is a blessing and proof that there are still good people in the world and you can pay it forward.

When I joined Heart of Solidarity I was hesitant at first but then I noticed that everyone in the group is kind, supportive, considerate and generous. The admins go out of their way everyday to make sure everyone's needs are met. I wouldn't want to be in any other group.

Great organization! I have been volunteering with HOS since a few years now, and love the team behind the cause! They work really hard to gather food for families in need, and have several pickup locations around the Bay Area as well as regular food and essentials drives.

Administrators are very sincere and kind. They do have strict policies and monitor each post and donation individually. It is safer no matter you are recipient or donor.
