So this is not a “food bank” this is a food distribution for the food bank. I will say when I found that out she was so kind gave me a calendar of food banks and food pantry’s as well as gave me a dry goods box which really saved the day! It had shelf
Stable milk! And plenty of items I was not expecting to receive very grateful for the services they provide. Just be aware if your looking for a food pantry this is not that but they can give you better resources to find them. I recommend calling and seeing if you can get an emailed copy rather than making the trip to the facility.

I've had occasions where I've needed their help, and they were always able to connect me to what I needed. Keep in mind, please, that this is a bank. When you can, please consider giving them a deposit so they will be there the next time you or someone else needs a withdrawal. God bless these folks! I told them we were 4 family because I had my anties on my car I don’t live with them….. I’m a young mom with a 1 years old baby and I’m only 20 years old but she didn’t give me a bag because of my age 🙁 and she didn’t put my name on the paper neither …… like I should have make them go in a different car so they can see I was a different family.. she took my id but she still put 3 family but they didn’t give me Turkey bag 🙁 and they told me I needed to do the line again just for my Turkey!! It’s okay I will buy my Turkey I don’t want to wait another 1 hour …. But u guys should count young moms too and don’t judge them by their age … thank u

Long line of cars even if you get there early prepare to wait. People stand around chit-chatting little too much when they should just move on for the next person. See employees are doing their best and are very pleasant. The food is always fresh and actually good stuff not a bunch of weird stuff you'll never use. All in all it was a pretty good experience.

Friend made agreement with them to pickup expired bread every Thursday because person he was getting expired bread from was giving 4 week old moldy bread. Mike at El Dorado Food Bank required I purchase a $1200 trailer to pickup every Thursday and if we missed one Thursday it was over and “HE” himself would call if no bread was available. Today, my husband and I arrived at 1PM per MIKE’s instructions. The only person there was helping, MIKE came around corner and immediately started yelling there was no bread! He offered a few boxes of grapes, I said “Huh?” Because I was confused… He yelled at us never to come back that he was done. We never treated him bad nor ever talked to him before. I now hate El Dorado Food Bank… There was no reason to treat my husband and I with such harshness never meeting him before… I spent $1200 for a trailer he required so he could be this cruel, I thought the food bank was supposed to be about helping people… Apparently not so…

Hi I never post things but today I decided I really had to. went up to the food bank and dropped off a whole carload and I do mean a whole carload of turkeys and other grocery items. There were three people there two guys and a girl that was working the front desk. The two guys stood back and watched me and the girl pack all the food in the building from the back of my car and didn’t offer to help nor did anybody bother to even tell me thank you! It was my first time donating there and it will definitely be my last, it seems to me there is a lot of other places who would appreciate my efforts far more then they apparently did
