What an exceptional camp stay before starting the Pacific Crest Trail! They had a large fire, propane heaters, hot coffee and tea, pancakes in the morning, shelter from rain, and campfire talks and tons of hiking community. We also got to attend Campo Days and see some animals and some great barbecue. Recommend to all!

Even though Campo may be a little out of the way, it is very peaceful out there. The place is huge. Not just rodeo arena but also you can camp with your horse. The sites have water and corrales. There are bathrooms. It is on the border at the start of the Pacific Crest Trail. Plenty of places to ride and hike. The Railroad and Buffalo Soldiers museums are just around the corner.

CLEEF is awesome! the shuttle service is so fast and easy. they had coffee and snacks available in the morning before we hit the trail. tent locations were handy. the bathrooms were nice too. the informational meeting was very handy. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a large venue with more than 100 acres up in the mountains well away from city lights and city sounds. Clean and well run. Many equestrian and motorcycle events and group camping events.
